Get Baked New York — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

Tried the brand new Get Baked located in Francesco's and I can confidently say that these are by far one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. Everything I enjoyed at Get Baked is not only a labor of love and attention but also one of the most delicious, rich and absolute decadent dessert I've eaten in a long time.

Before looking at the display of available flavors I did the mistake of just looking at the menu - the expanding menu doesn't fully grasp how amazing these confectioneries actually look. Each cupcake and beignet in the display case looks like art and you can see the careful planning and level of attention that's placed in each dessert.

My order was the lemon beignet, cannoli cupcake and dulce de leche cupcake along with a large iced caramel macchiato. The macchiato was maybe a touch sweeter than I'm used to, but the 2 shots of espresso in the drink gave me the perfect pick me up I needed for my day. I'm not a fan of lemony sweets, but the lemon beignet absolutely shocked me with how light and delicious it was. Perfect level of sweet, rich and tart, it's amazing to see how they won me over with a dessert I never imagined I'd ever order twice. The cannoli cupcake made it impossible for me to like another cannoli again. The filling in this one is comparatively less sweet than the other desserts, but it has ultimately taken the throne as the king of cannolis, beating out all other cannolis I've ever experienced. Lastly, for what is by far the best of all I enjoyed, was the dulce de leche. The crème filling is so rich and decadent that I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't a member of royalty. The cake part was perfectly airy, moist and light while the filling was so rich that not only does this blow all other cupcakes out the water, it also competes all other cakes I've had eaten ever.

Another mistake I made - not ordering the 4 pack. At first glance a single cupcake is filling enough to even be shared, but after finishing my last of the sweets I can't wait to go back and have more of these cupcakes to stash in my fridge to treat myself with these delicious cakes everyday. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying every flavor I didn't try yet, from the wedding cake to rainbow cookies, to flavors I didn't know was available like peanut butter and I'm also hearing cheesecake is in the works? These cupcakes are one of a kind amazing! I bought all my favorites: Rainbow cookie, Dulce de leche, Wedding cake, Oreo, and Red velvet. The way they have taken their time to perfect these flavors and give the best bang for your buck is un real! I was convinced (didn’t take much convincing) to try their stuffed beignets (lemon and mango). When I tell you I AM HOOKED? it’s an understatement. So light and fluffy and perfectly shareable on a date :). The owners Sofija and Eric really care about their customers satisfaction and answered all of our questions. They spent time with us and recommended their favorites as well. I have a hard time choosing which one was my favorite but that Rainbow Cookie Cupcake is up there!
