An inexpensive, well lit casual, small eatery with big solid wood furniture. I would prefer the place cosier and less casual
They have 10 kinds of dumplings and their 2 vegan ones (vegetable and pumpkin) were sold out! Many dishes should be vegan or have a vegan option listed but do not.
They don't have any vegan proteins. They should have tofu, a tofu bao bun and brown rice, and the vegetable dumplings and soybean milk ($2.95) in stock.
They need to provide vegan choices and clearly delineate them on the menu! I shouldn't have to ask many questions and the waitress needs better knowledge of the food.
The White Rice ($2.00) was plain, a bit flavorless. The Scallion Pancake ($4.95) was thin, crispy and oily. I soaked up all the grease with napkins, and the dumpling sauce was above average.
The hot Longan Ginger Tea ($4.95) is a curious, naturally sweet, therapeutic delight. I loved the Hot & Sour Kelp Salad although there was a superfluous amount of fresh chopped chili peppers and it probably would be fine without the sourdough. I held the oyster sauce on the String Beans Skewer ($3.50). There were perfectly wrinkled. I tasted cumin, as one of the granulated seasonings and they were amazing!
On a 2nd visit the cauliflower skewers ($3.50) were also disappointingly greasy. The housemade Steamed Vegetable Dumplings ($6.95) and special order Chili Sauce were above average and fresh, light and impressive, respectively. The hot tea was served in a paper cup this time but really should be served in glass for dine-in
On subsequent visits, The Stir Fry Cabbage ($12.95) was surprisingly and disappointingly spicy, thick and seemingly undercooked without any sign of garlic, completely unlike the photo. I agree with another reviewer that the Vegetable Mixed Spinach Noodles ($9.95) and Spicy Dan Dan Noodle ($14.95) sauces were ridiculously bland and watery. I recommend not ordering these dishes or substitute dumpling sauce and/or chili oil. The Crispy Pumpkin Cake ($6.95) was out of stock
I greatly enjoyed the Stir-Fry Bok Choy W. Garlic ($12.95) and the Black Fungus salad ($7.95). I ordered the later, easy on the hot peppers. It was spicy and a bit sour with complimentary sliced red onion and cilantro.
Yet on another occasion unlike the description and photo, the Bok Choy had a WATERY soy sauce. Gross!!! Extremely annoyed, as inconsistency is the worst thing any restaurant can do. It's POOR ownership and management and receives a minus 1 star from me. Mini-fries ($4.95) were excellently seasoned, crispy fresh potato sticks.
The Cold Jelly W. Mango Pomelo ($9.95) is a big, cool, refreshing dessert soup. I recommend sprinkling with some brown sugar. I'm curious about the Scallion Oil Mixed Noodle ($6.95) and Crispy Pumpkin Cake
In brief, fantastic for a quick, fresh, healthy bite of Chinese street food if you hold the extraneous oil and make sure the food is...
Read moreI would 100% recommend this place to everybody because this restaurant welcomes anyone who is looking to dine in or having food to go. There are a variety of beverage options in terms of bubble teas and iced drinks as well as desserts. As for the food, it is mainly Taiwanese and Japanese cuisine so it is perfect for anyone who is looking for dim sum options or ramen but there is much more to offer on top of that. There are dumplings, skewers, rice bowls, spring rolls, popcorn chicken, and soups so there is food options for anyone from babies to elderies. As for my dine in experience, I would say it’s wonderful because the staffs are very nice and caring where they serve you water first and allow you to order food on iPads. I would say it’s a wonderful place to grab lunch or dinner as a family or with friends or either just by yourself during the day. I came here during the summer and this place offers great air conditioning and has a very clean modern design to it. I came here with friends but it is great for families who have kids as well because there are high chairs and staffs accommodate to the needs of all customers. This place also offers food delivery on platforms like Uber Eats or Doordash. Noodumpling has its own website as well where you are able to order for pickup in the restaurant. You should give this...
Read moreIt is unfortunate that I am writing this review, but I believe it has to be done! I must say this… The service was great and they were very kind! They even offered us an extra order of soup dumplings unprompted. God bless their kindness. However this review has to do with the food. We ordered the seafood soup with beef broth, and tonkatsu ramen. The broth on both soups was tasteless. Very watery… it was truly unfortunate. For a restaurant where a large portion of the menu is soups, the broths on both were very weak… no flavor. Literally almost tasted like water a hint of beef flavor and chili oil… The Soup dumpling were average, and the shumai was better….
The pictures in the menu were also inaccurate. I submitted an image under to show how different the broths looked… also looks like image could have been taken from another restaurant potentially?
Please do better on the soups. One day I will come back and try you guys again because you deserve another chance… but this review is necessary… hopefully adjustments...
