Changed Receipes On Egg Foo Young Gravy Very RudeYelled At Ma As If Cheated Her Out Of Her Life Savings I've been a customer for 40 years..I remember when original Tommy and his wife Nancy ran the place.My nephew growing up hung out with Tommy's nephews as a kid sometimes playing In toms 11 kitchen Area I say that they had the best egg foo young gravy around. I orderd take out Schuasn wonton which I asked the person taking my order to cut back on the spicy as itvwas to hot.i couldn't eat it the egg foo young palettes we re microwaved as well Thev egg foobyoung graves recipe was change into something I didn't care for at all.thevwgg roll was not deep fried but microwaved and thehitvand sour soup had no vinegar it was devoid of any sour flavor .I only called up and mentioned the egg foo young heavy hiw itvwas nitbthe same.I was respectful spike on a l I w. UPDATE 3/31/16 : Tom's II has new owners and the food quality has fallen off drastically.!! I went in for the 1st time in about a year and noticed all new faces/cooks and asked and it was confirmed. The Moo Shu Pork was god awful and the rest of the meal except the fried chicken wings all sucked and sucked bad,!! Another great take out place sold to new owners to turn food quality to absolute crap.!!! stay away if your a fan of the Tom's II of old..the new cooks blow.!!

Original post 7/2010 : I have been enjoying tom's ll for 30 years now and i personally have never had a bad meal from there.! the moo shu pork is on point and the fried chicken wings with the nice ginger flavor in the breading are always yummy as are the pork buns.! if your in hicksville and passing through the area of where it is and are thinking of getting good take out to go home with, try it....not like the old Long's restaurant that was i the old mid island plaza, now the broadway mall for you folks who don't remember the " plaza"..lol, but a close 2nd in my taste...

Because of Uber Eats, I did not get my food until 40 min after it should have arrived. So I knew it might not be as fresh or warm upon arrival. I also didn’t realize the reviews on Uber were very different than Google Maps. I should have looked here first.

The food was so bland and underwhelming. We didn’t even finish our meals. I should note that my husband is ridiculously easy to please and he didn’t want to eat it. The chicken wasn’t spicy as described. The fried rice tasted more like ready made rice and had a strange texture and flavor. The egg drop soup was the best thing I had, but I wouldn’t order here just for that. The scallion pancake was more like a heavy fried dough. The shrimp roll was decent but a little heavy. The almond cookies were stale and tasteless.

Overall, I was very disappointed in Uber Eats and the food quality here as well. I hope the owners take a look at their kitchen and chef and revamp things. Go elsewhere for...
