Second Visit Dec 23
I gave this place another chance and I don’t regret it. I’m glad I went again for a brunch buffet. The first time we went, I think they were still under construction, which is why the food felt stale and we were basically the only ones dining over there, which was our mistake to honestly tell you.
Anyhow, second time we went, the restaurant was full. The food was fresh. The buffet was very nice a lot of dishes. Nihari was made in Karachi style, which is to say it, it was a little spicy. But well done. Parathas were nice and Nan etc.
I am adjusting the rating back to. Four star but I’m leaving the review that I did the first time below for your reference.
First Visit
I am not into writing bad reviews easily. But I’m sorry I have to. I went there with my wife on a Thursday night. We just wanted to relax and maybe eat something outside, try something new. When we stepped in the restaurant was empty, there was construction going on close to the door.
At that time I should’ve turned around because something in me said that there’s nobody in the restaurant you’re going to get yesterday’s food . Which is exactly what happened to us. We ordered the goat Karahi usually the most expensive item in Pakistani cuisine, and it was burnt and salt was too high.
I don’t know why, but I didn’t send it back. I should’ve done that started eating it hoping that maybe I got a burned piece but it was clearly stale food that was overheated again to serve, and in the process was burnt.
When the waiter asked how the food is, I was honest with him that this is burned. I even picked up a barn piece and asked him to have the chef eat it, and he will know that his burnt and it’s stiff.
Despite the complaint of course, not even a dime of discount or any offer of apology, or anything like that. Not that I asked for it and trust me if I wasn’t in a tired, beaten up mood. I would’ve made more noise, but I was just not in the mood to do that.
Very disappointed.
I give it a two star because the kheer was not bad.
Other than that the samosas were stale, they smell like they were frozen for long time and paya was reheated and very heavily spicy.
Honestly, maybe that food was good at some point in time, but it was not fresh. They just gave us food that was sitting there and reheated it and...

Read moreCame here after seeing a popular blogger post about this location. Set up is nice, it's well decorated. But we did the breakfast buffet and didn't really feel like it was worth it. The buffet set up needs improvement. The nihari was cold, the paya had a gamey taste. Halwa needed more sugar. Aalu and chanay were good. There was only one woman serving all the tables so it was taking forever to get our naan and puris (which they don't include in the buffet area, it's brought to your table). So you get your food from the buffet and are kinda just sitting there waiting for the breads to show up so you can eat what you brought--and since it's not that hot to begin with it's already cold by the time the naan/Puri come. Each time we asked for naan she kept bringing one naan even though there were four of us at the table, and it was taking a long time because that poor woman was running from table to table by herself. They might as well include the naan and puri with the rest of the buffet items if they aren't able to bring them to tables quickly enough. People can grab it fresh themselves from the buffet area. By the time I went for seconds there were no plates/bowls, no spoons, no garnishes left for the nihari. They may have just added a new batch of nihari, because it was ice cold. It's important to thoroughly warm before adding it to the chafing dish. Not sure if they just weren't ready for the influx of people after the blogger posted, or if this is how it always is (this was my first time there). Came all the way from Brooklyn and it didn't seem worth it. But, it has potential and I hope the owners can read this and benefit from the feedback to help...
