I am very disappointed with this business as I had heard so many good things about them which turned out to be untrue. I called in the afternoon on Nov 6th to book a reservation to have my Daughter's Communion there on May 5th at 6:00 pm and was happy the date and time was available. I said great please hold the date for me and said my wife would be there around 1 pm to get the menu items and pricing. She could not make it around 1 since school was out so I called and said would it be alright to come in after work. I was told no problem they [Olga or Desiree] would be there late. I get home tonight and bring my daughter and wife to the restaurant only to be told - no, sorry we gave away the date and time to someone else who called around 4:30 pm today. Seriously?? You tell me the day before it is mine, I call at 1 pm and it is still mine and then at 4:30 pm - knowing I am coming in and give it away? They then say it is first come first serve and I said apparently not because I booked it on the 6th and you gave it away today and they needed to call the person who they gave it to they made a mistake. They then said - "Well, how would you like to be treated that way..." ummmm - you are treating me this way. They didn't seem to care and they knew they were wrong and are still wrong but don't want to own up to it. I will never try to book anything there, eat there and will spend my days posting about them and how they lied. I will reach out to everyone I know in the media till I can let as many people as I know to never use their restaurant for any party. Don't use them as they will give away your date and time...
Read moreMy fiance and I had our bridal shower at Zona this past Sunday and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place. The food and service were equally amazing!! For the appetizers we had family style the Sicilian Rice Balls (best rice balls I have ever put in my mouth), Fried Calamari, and Eggplant Rollatini. Then we had a choice of Caesar Salad or Bacon Salad (Holy Yum!! The Bacon Salad was incredible!!) Next came a choice between Penne alla Vodka (my favorite) and Rigatoni Veneziani (Rigatoni with sliced sausage, & broccoli rabe in olive oil & garlic.) Then came a choice of about 10 different entree options from steak to seafood to poultry, etc. I chose the Sorrentino (Boneless breaded chicken breast layered with prosciutto, fried eggplant & fresh mozzarella.) By this time I was so full I could barely eat it. They wrapped up everyone's entree that we could not eat to take home. It was super delicious even the next day as leftovers!! Everyone was raving about how great their food was. Last came dessert. And, mmmmm mmmm mmmm is all I have to say. Dessert trays came out on each table. The Crepes with Nutella were a huge hit as well as the homemade zeppolis. I think there was another dessert that came on the menu, but I forget at the moment. Everything was just AMAZING. Oh and Mimosas and Bellinis were passed around throughout the event. The wait staff was always readily available and were really on top of things!! I will definitely be visiting this place again. Thank you Zona for helping to make my bridal shower extra special. Everything was just...
Read moreI honestly don’t know where to begin. We just had our baby shower at Zona yesterday and to say the experience was amazing is an understatement. From the initial consult with Gianna, to my overthinking and questioning leading up to the event and then the event itself, there was never a concern that went unanswered or over delivered. Gianna made the party planning extremely easy and straight forward, Jodi and the rest of the staff the day of were so attentive and made sure everyone had what they needed and lastly, all the guest complimented not only the food but how many selections they had to choose from for such a party. Our party was just over 50 people and we had the larger of the two rooms with a party going on in the smaller room at the same time. At no point did we feel neglected nor honestly had any interference from the other party. This is no fault of Zona but it was also a baby shower for a boy and a few of the guest did get confused so I would only suggest have appropriate signage or someone from you party who knows everyone keeping an eye out towards the beginning. When it came time to settle up, I am still amazed by how reasonable they are for the amount they offer. So many took home half their meals as the portions are huge. We opted for an upgrade on the drink package and definitely made the right choice. If you are questioning whether to choose Zona or not for a party, the answer is is yes. You will not be...
