Coming out of work and heading into an hour drive with my friends, I decided to stop to this restaurant to get a water and something to eat. I also however did need to use the bathroom really bad and upon entering I asked them if they had a bathroom. The four guys all got quiet and looked at each other before one said “well the bathrooms are for customers only so too bad (or something along those lines but said with an attitude). Taken aback by how offended he was that I asked to the bathroom, I looked at him and said “that’s crazy”, since it’s absurd that anyone would speak to anyone like that. He then proceeded to say “what’s crazy is we pay the bills, what’s crazy is we pay the light, what’s crazy is we pay the bathroom” in a hostile tone. Deciding it wasn’t worth staying and arguing with him and explaining that I indeed wanted to buy food, I said “sorry I just came out of work I work with kids and just had to go”. As I left he called out after me saying “what’s crazy is..” continuing to antagonize me. I’ve had pizza here before and it was always very good with great customer service and have never received this...
Read moreWe have been there twice and both times the service was amazing. We were there last month as a last minute because another restaurant could not accommodate our party I called them and they said sure we can fit you in I said we were 7 people by the time we got there literally 5 minutes we were all set up. The food was amazing, delicious and the servings are well worth it. The waitress was awesome, friendly and knew her stuff. We went back last night with the same number without notice and they were able to accommodate us again. Two of the 7 people this time did not come last time and they loved the food as well. The food is delicious, the service is friendly and the pricing is comparable to other restaurants. The waitress remembered us from last month and said and you were here for your birthday last month. Definitely a place I would go to again and again and again. There are always a few tables with people sitting at when we walk in and a lot of people...
Read moreThe THIN CRUST SICILIAN "slices" are to die for! As soon as I saw the Grandma one I was in love. (I think hubby had one of the house specialties). The sauce looked so fresh that I imagined grams back in that kitchen tending to a simmering pot of homemade sauce. Normally I prefer pepperoni or Mediterranean, but this simple toppings pizza was probably the best I ever had. The THIN CRUST SICILIAN isn't for you people who like a lot of soft, doughy crust. This is a perfectly crisp crust with sauce spread to the outer edges. One square was filling, so doggie bagged the other slices home. (perfect midnight snack) Took a couple tiramisu home too. Comes in a plastic container, so probably frozen, then thawed. It was still delicious. I mean, it's tiramisu after all. If we didn't live 3 hours away we would definitely be regulars of Pomodoro's. Would love to try other items...
