I’m relatively new to Poughkeepsie. I never went to chipotle until very recently where I found some items I actually enjoyed such as steak and their guacamole. Besides that, my boyfriend has been going to that chipotle for a while now because he enjoys their bowls, it can be a healthy alternative if you feel like eating out and it’s a convenient location due to the fact it’s a couple minutes down the road from him. The last couple weeks he has gone he has encountered one specific worker there. We are not sure if she is the manager but we have a feeling that she is. He has only ever seen her on the day shift and she is a bit older I’d say approaching her 40’s. Anyway, every time he goes or even I go and we encounter this worker she gives us practically NOTHING. I wish I would have taken pictures of the bowls we have received. When I am in person ordering (most of the time) I intentionally AVOID her. So does my boyfriend. If we see her working we will quite literally turn around. Not only does she give terrible portions but one time before we knew about her terrible portions AND attitude we had gone in and sometimes we order half chicken and half another meat. We deliberately told her this (we have never had an issue in the past doing this) and when she put on the chicken without the other half when our request was only half we told her that, that’s not what we said. Of course if she couldn’t hear us it’s totally okay and we wouldn’t care but she immediately gave us attitude and didn’t even apologize for her mistake. She knew she made it but didn’t care and continued to charge us double for the two meats over her mistake. Another incident occurred with this exact woman again. My boyfriend went to get me a bowl after the initial incident where he asked for hot sauce on the bowl, he came back with it and I was so hungry that I had to eat it especially because I was running late for work. This bowl had so much hot sauce on it I threw it all up later that night. We believe it’s because of the prior incident and that she was “getting back at us”. Of course we don’t know if it’s true but I whole heartedly believe it is. Overall my main complaint is with this woman. If I had her name I’d gladly put it. If I do get her name, I’ll edit this and add it. I’d like to see if she treats anyone else...
Read moreIt’s such a shame that this is so poorly run. I ordered online for a 5pm pickup. Stood there as they put orders on the pick up shelf and mine wasn’t coming out. 30 minutes go by and I ask the status, to which they hand me the bags from behind the counter that were out of sight. No explanation or apology. I proceed to check the items (as everytime I order here there are items missing from my orders) and find missing chips and salad dressing. When I politely asked for their attention and explained what I still needed they were clearly annoyed and stated they didn’t have those items. I said can I have a substitute for the dressing and if they had some salsa for if, they told me no (I could see it on the prep line). They told me to complain on the app for a refund and again, offered no apology. The woman was so dismissive and rude. Why doesn’t this website reflect when items are out of stock, similar to how Panera does? If items are out of stock it is often a determining factor as to if you will order from that establishment. By the time I got home this food was cold and inedible. Granted the place was busy as Marist kids were returning to school, but this should be accounted for when management is ordering and staffing the store. The place was a mess with chips on the floor and no straws at all. Trying to contact customer service at Chipotle proved to be an impossible task. There is no published phone number and you can only chat. It took me over and hour and explaining what had happened via chat and getting disconnected from different reps on four occasions, I had to explain it over and over and over and over. Finally I was refunded....
Read moreI have never written a review in my life but this felt like it needed to be shared! The first time I went to this restaurant at the Poughkeepsie location I was excited to finally have one in our area and it was great! The second time was today and unfortunately my excitement after a long shift at the nursing home came to a quick end. I would love to think this lady had a bad day but I have never been treated so poorly by another person ever. I had two orders I needed and as I tried to express to her what I wanted in my bowl she over talked me by barking at me to tell her what was next as I was trying to get out my two very different orders. I continued to say please and thank you until we got to the salsa … Now I’m not expert in salsa so I have never had a problem just pointing to which one I wanted. As I pointed to say this one please she snapped back at me to say HUN do you want the brown or the red with an attitude. I replied brown. I then had to do the salsa for my second order and pointed to say this one please ( again don’t know what it’s called ). She then snapped at me and said “ HUN we need to learn to communicate, which one do you want “ I said there is no need to be rude I am trying, I don’t know what they are called. She replied back “ it’s tomatoes , it’s called pico” …. As someone who suffers from anxiety this was embarrassing and I felt belittled for no reason. I hope this girl learns from the experience and treats people with more kindness. Hopefully it was...
