Community Deli — Restaurant in Town of Poughkeepsie

I would have definitely given this review zero stars if Google Play would let me. I went to community deli yesterday afternoon and have been a consistent customer since they opened that store up on DeLeValle place in 2015 and my family also spends money here regularly when they're in dutchess county and I had one of the truly most abhorent experiences ever when I arrived yesterday. I ordered the same thing I always get. A bacon egg and cheese with salt ketchup and pepper and I paid for my sandwich which is $6 which is also very expensive but that's according to the times & the economy which I will not complain about. My complaint is because my sandwich was scrunched up and looks like it was tampered with and when I came back inside to request my money back the girl that I knew personally named Jordan had an attitude and didn't apologize or say anything. Automatically when I walked in they were yelling "what's the problem what's the problem". Wrong way to handle business and a new deli associate. Apologize for your shortcomings and you would have gotten a totally different reaction. I might have just asked for my sandwich to be remade but because both of the deli workers attitudes were disgusting; I probably will be a lot more hesitant to ever spend money there again and I know Steve personally & Admire his vehicles and I've lived in the area since 1998. I have gone there a few times to get sandwiches in the past. Thursday morning I bought 3 bacon egg and cheese sandwiches . My grandchildren and I were eating them at home, and 2 out of the 3 sandwiches had hair. The women making food weren't wearing hair nets. That same evening, I ended up with food poisoning. Not sure if it was the bacon, as it was undercooked.Today is Saturday and I still can't eat anything. I will never step foot in that place again. I'm glad my Grandchildren threw theirs out as soon as they had hair in their mouths. I recommend no one eat anything from this...

I love the Community Deli ever since they renovated it it's the only Deli in the area that I go to. Whenever you call your order in ahead of time it is always ready when you get there. They also have a really good selection of baked goods that are homemade and always fresh. I would highly recommend if you're in the mood...
