East Garden chinese food — Restaurant in Town of Poughkeepsie

Unfortunately my family and I had the right idea to order Chinese food but the wrong idea to order from this place. Upon placing our order my sister got “pork fried rice with absolutely no onions” & she repeated this several times. She also stated she is highly allergic! Amongst this we had 2 other orders. Once we received our order the pork fried rice had onions in it and a lot of them at that, which were under the surface of the food. My sister ate some believing that they did not put the onions in there and she went into anaphylactic shock, we then had to administer an epi-pen. Once we called the restaurant to make them aware of their mistake the woman on the phone said “oh well you can try a different place” & “I read the order back to you”. When she did read it she stated no onions. So here we are with an ER visits due to this restaurants poor customer service and lack of accountability. In regards to the food, it is okay but I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. My family has been in a frenzy worrying about my sisters health. Had a huge order plus delivery. Only issues was the broccoli in the broccoli and chicken order. Broccoli wasn't tender, felt only heated, tough to bit/chew. Chicken tasted not as fully cooked as it should. Also, never knew bourbon chicken is suppose to be breaded. Bourbon chicken everywhere I've ordered from is bare chicken based in the bourbon dressing/sauce. Not coated in bread crumbs or batter. Lastly, I was charged twice per delivery fee which isn't feasible but we were hungry, no access to a ride or vehicle for pickup and not to many place deliver for what we actually wanted. Got the wrong food. The lady was rushing me packing is bad. I would recommend go to a other place not this horrible go to other place please. The lady there was screaming at me and I mean screaming at me. I was kept trying to deliver back to my place and she charged me for a 10$ Fe and I said no am not doing that lady hung up on me she kept saying whatever I ordered I said what I wanted and she didn't get me of what I wanted deliver people are rude as heck.
