Mandarin Chinese — Restaurant in Town of Ramapo

From the start seemed like the staff was very disorganized. We stood at the front with two staff members near by and one coming back and forth and noone said boo to us. Eventually we said can we get a table for two and they said of course and started fumbling with menus, discussing which tables to offer, which booth would be available, which booth needs to be saved and after two minutes of them talking we were brought into the dining room which mind you was only one third full and were offered a choice of two tables. Just a side note, there were no other tables that came in after us, so totally not sure what these two employees were talking about before. We sat and after a few minutes decided on what to order. No waiter came by to ask if we were ready, no Chinese noodles were brought to the table, no water or drinks were offered until we finally told a waiter we wanted to order 10 minutes after being seated. They said of course just a moment and disappeared for another 5 minutes. We were discussing leaving and going somewhere else when they finally showed up. We ordered the pupu platter which was the biggest rip off and came with barely anything on it and two mains. The eggrolls in the pupu platter smelled like rotten cabbage and tasted rotten but aside from the egrolls the food was really good. We finished our food, sat and spoke for about ten minutes and noone came to clear the table or offer dessert so we just stood, walked to the front and asked if we could pay and mentioned the spoiled egrolls which they offered to give me a discount but I don't know what the discount was since they never gave me a receipt just told me what the total was and we paid. The total was 114 dollars for a pupu platter and two Chinese dishes, what a rip off. The prices are astronomically high, the service is sub par and after all this they had the nerve to add tip to the bill when we had so many issues. Maybe if the tip was up to the patron to give their servers would do a decent job. Either way I don't plan on going back, for this kind of money there are so many better restaurants near by. Prices are New York City style, service and ambiance are one star ... Just...

Where to begin? Let’s play a game called find the chicken. So I ordered kong pow chicken and when I got it there was 99% gross vegetables and 1% chicken. As you can not see in the picture the presence of chicken anywhere in the container. When paying for a water bottle on my way out I mentioned to the staff that I didn’t like the long pow chicken as there was no chicken really present in the bowl. He responded by saying let me show you, and that it’s little pieces you have to find. He then went on to scrape into a bowl all the vegetables to reveal the smallest piece of dark chicken you would ever see and say you see I told you there was chicken. When I replied that when I paid that much for Kong pow chicken I expected there to be more chicken and less vegetables as I paid for Kong pow chicken he got upset and started scooping more vegetables to try and find more chicken missing the point that they are cheating out customers from their meals which are being charged at insanely over priced margins and then underdelivering. This was really disatisfying and underwhelming and disappointed to experience and all he had to do was apologize and maybe give a refund but there was non of that which happened. The likelihood of finding a second jug of oil would have been hire than me ever ordering from this restaurant again. It’s basically a vegan place probably legally based off the portions. I would definitely call it buttle be’shishim and I can probably just go for pizza rn. Absolutely 0/10 and I would not recommended ordering any dishes off...

Bed is a understatement! Worst experience I ever had in my life!! First of all I made reservations ture google and when I got there they said they only take reservations by phone, when I got a email that my reservation is confirmed! And there was a few empty tables but they said they are full, but they said they can clean up a table for us, when in the none of the empty tables have been used the rest of the night. And after 10 minutes they cleand the table, we had to ask 2 times for a waiter to take our manu and it took literally 20 minutes a waiter should come to out table they tell us that they only have Chinese food! There is no normel Piece of steak on the menu! Actually they dont even have steak anymore on the menu, neither any alcohol on the menu! And they didn't notify us when we arrived that it's not a steak house when on the sign outside says steakhouse! Let's make a total the service when we got there was nasty! The waiters where busy talking and laughing while are asking twise for a waiter! And I am not done yet, when we got the starters (finally after sitting there 35 minutes already!) the meat was cold!!!! So I told the the waiter he said ok I'll put back on the grill, well once you put it back it gets dry, witch it happened! My worst dinner I ever had in my life! What a waist of...
