Read moreThis eatery is a surprise. From the outside you wouldn’t expect much, seating is rustic at best, atmosphere? Heimisch. But then, when you order any of their food, that is where the truth and the secret lies: It’s full of flavor, every bite is a Gaumenschmaus. Steaks, shashlik, kebab, mashed potatoes with grilled onions, green beans, and ohhh, the housemade Apfelstrudel. Monsey BBQ & Grill is nothing you’d expect from a regular Kosher meat. The meats are amazingly spiced, the sides are aldente and burst of flavor. The best, portions are generous. Shrinkflation hasn’t arrived at this place. Try their überdelicious Yeminite soup. At other places you’d get subpar meat pieces in it. Not at Monsey’s. Every bite of Fleisch is soft, has flavor and just an enjoyment to munch. What else to write… the place is as simple and flavorful as a good fast food place should be. Oh, and did we mention that prices are very reasonable?
