I ordered 4 dishes through the Uber Eats app. One dish was unedible, subpar and soggy. One dish was just bland and poor tasting, possible because it wasn't fresh. This a dish that is usually savory and tasty in most establishments (or homecooked) regardless of recipe. And another seemed it was scraps of an almost sold out dish. One dish was fine and tasty. Most of the order went to the garbage. I was overall surprised because I didn't have such experiences when ordering many times in store. I guess they do better on dishes that are popular that sell a lot and it was my mistake to order some of the less popular dishes. Or perhaps visually seeing the food in the display clues the customer when not to order a particular dish, something not possible when ordering through an app. What prompted me to write the review was the dismal service and condescending arrogant attitude several days later when I was going to order again. I spoke to someone identifying himself as owner to give honest feedback before ordering again. He was rude and inconsiderate that I had to dispose of most of the food I paid for. My advice would be to order only food you know to be very popular and to expect to be treated like a nuisance (pun with Nussy's not intended) with arrogance and apathy should you have a...
Read moreGot some late night take out on Sunday night (9pm). Kind of a large order, place was steady but not slammed. They were out of MANY products, and I had to keep revising my order. My children enjoyed their hot dogs, and my husband didn't say much about his sandwich. However, I ordered the brisket and both my husband and I agreed that the meat was too well done for our liking. The bread was also quite hard. The toppings, though were fresh and crisp and plentifully packed on. The sides on display looked mouth watering.
Overall: this is a take out place, not good for dining in, especially with a family. Food was ok. I would stop in again for late night take out if I'm in the area, but I don't think I will make a special trip JUST to get Nussy's. Prices are pretty good for a kosher meat place. Reliable kosher hashgacha...
Read moreWas working in area looking for a good lunch spot and found this place on google. Went here with high expectations based on reviews. Have to say, was very disappointed. I ordered a pastrami sandwich on a hero roll. What I got was barely any meat on my sandwich and a charge of $17! For that price, I’m expecting a Katz or Second Avenue Deli style sandwich packed with meat. There was more bread than meat and the meat wasn’t that great ! Also, instead of seeing them take the meat out of a steam tray, they wrapped the little bit of meat in paper and microwaved it. The fries on the side were ok but very greasy. Overall, this placed is quite overpriced (total price for my lunch was $25!) and not anywhere near the quality of those great Manhattan delis I mentioned. Do...
