After a day of hiking, my girlfriend and I wanted to check out Seven Lakes. This was our first visit to your establishment and we were hoping to find a decent spot to regularly visit and fill our growlers. Unfortunately our experience was anything but wonderful.

While the aesthetics are nice and the beer is tasty that is about as good as it gets. When we arrived the bar was already packed but we managed to find a nice spot by the window. Now we understood that a busy bar would mean a long wait. However, you would have thought we were invisible.

We found one server to ask for the wait time. He stated 20 minutes and then walked away. I stood near the bar waiting for a turn to order a round of beers. I was waiting for 10 minutes and in that time another 3 people came in and were served before me. At this time my gf was asking the hostess/waitress if we could put our names down for a table. She said we could but before my girlfriend could give her her name she was ignored mid sentence for another patron who walked in that happened to be a friend of this hostess. She eventually did come back after a few minutes to get her name for a table.

So we waited. We were asked one time by the server if we would like to order another round which we did. While we were waiting we noticed other groups of people coming in and being seated in the beer garden. One group even had 3-4 dogs with them. These groups had sat,eaten, paid, and were LEAVING before we were even given a table or checked on for another round.

Overall we waited for an hour and twenty minutes from the time we put our name down. My gf found the original hostess and asked if there was a table yet. She was told no. Then the hostess seemed to remember her and said “oh yes actually there is, sorry I forgot about you”.

At this point disgusted by the atrocious service, we decided to pay for our beers and leave. Another establishment across the street immediately served us and received our money. They will be getting repeat customers from us instead. This was the first and will be the last time we visit Seven Lakes.
