Disappointing And expensive for nothing.1st didn't have our reservation, happens... mix-up they double booked. ?? 'The show' was dull. Cook was clearly tired of his same old jokes. , Watched my shrimp meal get chucked to floor, after chef chucked shrimp at people -my meal, only one who ordered shrimp. Sitting with strangers is part of experience, but they should have comped me the shrimp I didn't get ... as they sprayed adults with low quality saki. Cute., Not. Staining a ladies silk blouse. (She wasn't happy after saying no thank you.) Hibachi was way too SALTY. Scallops just 4, inedible. I watched him dump salt on them, they were overcooked and rubbery. I kept saying to spouse, that's a lot of salt and, they are on too long... $32 wasted for that dish. Don't recommend. Husband said his chicken was greasy, also salty. The precooked rice, was also greasy, and soggy... may hibachi grill was not hot enough... we ordered drinks and sushi appetizers. Sushi never arrived drinks came at end of meal, ... they rushed us out when check was delivered immediately following the hibachi chef leaving. They were ready for next seating. No offer for 2nd drink, dessert, etc. Sushi was on tab, pointed out it didn't arrive, they apologized and gave it to go.i would have preferred it removed from tab. Atmosphere near none. Bright White LED spotlighting, diner-esque, complete with a sassy seating host and neglectful wait-staff, No, I do not recommend; Will not be returning. Maybe they were having a bad night, and we were there too early (5:30p. They were not busy, many...
Read moreMy youngest has celiac, so we let the server know. He was disappointed when he found out they wouldn't do his meal at the hibachi, but he can deal--thems the breaks.
We are seated at 6:30. By 7:15, everyone has had soup and salad and is onto their main. He still has had absolutely nothing brought to him.
I ask the chef if he can expedite the order, as my son is visibly upset. He says yes but I watch him convey the message to absolutely nobody.
Fine, he's busy. I go to the front desk and inform the one girl working there. She assures me it's coming right up, and then I watch her, likewise, tell absolutely nobody.
I go up again when I see another server at the front desk and explain that my son is still waiting on his meal. She says it'll be ready soon. I explain that it's been over an hour now, everyone's half way through their meals, and he has had nothing to eat. She laughs. LAUGHS. I ask her why she is laughing. She apologizes while smiling, then begins to laugh again. I ask her what's so funny, and point her to my child who is by now in tears at the table, hungry, while everyone else stops eating to try to console him.
After talking to a FOURTH person, they finally get around to bringing out my child his meal, a full hour and a half after our orders were taken. "Sorry, we were busy."
This whole thing was unacceptable. Busy or not, this is absolutely no way to treat paying customers. Completely ruined a...
Read moreI went here for the first time thinking I was going to have a good experience and eat good food, I’ve been to plenty of hibachi’s places before so I usually know how to order. I ordered a shrimp fried rice hibachi but they brought out a plate with noodles and shrimp, and rice as the side. I then said something about it but told me “you should have known that when you ask for shrimp fried rice hibachi , that it comes with noodles and the rice is on the side. You should have just said you wanted rice instead of noodles” I then proceeded to ask for the check and got out of there. Also I didn’t get not one refill on my drink and the ice had been melting in my glass for a while. The food was actually not too bad but the customer service sucks and they obviously didn’t care to give me a replacement plate with rice instead of noodles, they refused and like I said , told me that “you should have known already” when it was my first time there. Really...
