Delamater Inn & Conference Center — Hotel in Town of Rhinebeck

Room was charming and large. We stayed in Courtyard of Delamater side. Gas fireplace is a special touch, as was the complimentary sherry. These rooms are a little walk from the main hotel, which appears to be where you check in.

Breakfast was also pretty good.

Downside is the thin ceilings/floors if you stay in a lower unit. Footsteps resonate pretty loudly.

But the location is ideal, in that you can walk to local shops and restaurants but a heartbeat away and drive to local landmarks (Olana, FDR, Shawangunk, wineries and cideries).

Just checked in. EXTREMELY dissapointed. Had told the reservations people that I wanted a really nice room because my husband and I are both facing serious health challenges. Was hoping for something charming and relaxing. Instead got a room that smells odd and has views of parking lot and a stree. If i wanted to stay at a $159 Hampton Inn I would have done so.
