I really wanted to have a great experience. There were only a few downsides. I'd say overall it was OK. We had to wait for a table (seems like there's room to put a few more in the restaurant). Both with onion rings. We agree the onion rings were the star of the show and the remoulade was amazing! My boyfriend said of his burger 'its like a Denny's burger". Not bad but not worth what they are charging for it. I think my burger was also good but small for $17? I think it was. Random note, the straw for my water cup barely fit over the top of the cup. Out server was Danielle and she had a great attitude. We realize they just opened and are still ironing things out. Will try them again at some point. We like to support local biz.

My milkshake was made fresh as the burger and the fries were crisp. The wait was a little longer than I expected, especially since we can when it opened for lunch, but there was a big party that they were preparing for. They do have boozy drinks and boozy shakes. A burger and shake place that's done it right. We'll come again.

We have ordered to-go and it came out so fast I didn't even have a chance to order a drink at the bar. Everyday in the restaurant business is different, maybe next time we order to-go I will have time for a marg or two, and that's ok because it's worth the wait. If you saw the attached not so great review ( everyone entitled to their opinion) , that's me and my husband enjoying a marg or three with an open barstool for anyone who was waiting for to go :)

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff that greet you when you walk in.

We got 4 burgers with burger sauce on the side, fries with cheese sauce. And an order of Nashville dipped tenders.

Everything was great. The burgers were good quality, seasoned well, with fresh toppings. All served on soft buns. The fries were honestly the stand out. Really tasty.

The Nashville dipped tenders were bursting with flavor. Very similar to Dave’s Hot Chicken. But that’s not a knock, or a surprise, since they’re both the same style of chicken.

We did have to drive the food home about 20 minutes, so the bottom buns of our burgers did get soggy in that time. But that’s not the restaurant’s fault. Just don’t plan to travel far with the food and expect it to still be in-restaurant fresh.

The fact that our food was still excellent in spite of that, is impressive.

They deserve 5 stars because they’re exactly the type of restaurant the area needs, and they deserve to succeed.

Will absolutely be back to try...

My daughter, 2 grandsons and myself had our first experience with Double Cheese last night. We could have had a hi top table but my daughter wasn't sure if I would have been comfortable because the stools had no back (stop worrying...I've got this) So the hostess got us the table in back for the overflow people. We had the whole room to ourselves! So let's get on to the rest! WE HAD THE BEST WAITRESS EVER...AMANDA S. She was extremely helpful in answering all the questions we had about the food choices and the beverages! We all got different burgers, some with fries and onion rings. Best onion rings ever with remoulade sauce for dipping. I could only finish half of my burger but it was great the next day for lunch! Amanda was veery attentive to us even with us being in the back. When we left the place was packed. If you haven't tried DC yet...make sure you do! You will not be disappointed. NOTE: next time I am going to sit at one of the high tops where the...
