The food here is good (although inconsistent - it seems different people make things differently) but every single order they seem to mess something up and they don't really ever fix it. I have been a regular here, but I'm at the point where I'm too frustrated to continue going. The order I got today was supposed to have kabob house mix for two (my wife made them repeat back the order and they kept saying vegetable stew and they repeated it back kebab house mix for two) but when she got there they made a mix for one - their solution was for my partner to wait while they cooked what she actually ordered and the guy kept arguing with her that the meal for one was enough for two people. My daughter is disabled and very messy when she eats on a lot of her food goes on the floor so no it isn't enough and now I'm not going to have enough to eat because I have to give most of it to her. If it was a one-time thing that wouldn't be a big deal but I would never pay $26 for the portion size of a meal for 1. They should at least discount it to half the price of the larger meal. Last time they forgot one of our meals that we paid for. They did offer to drop it off after the restaurant closed but that's 2 hours waiting for one of us to eat with no discount. The time before that they forgot the bread and it wasn't the first time they forgot the bread. The size of seasoned bread that they give you is about half what it used to be. A very small wedge vs. half a pita. Another time they forgot the baklava. When my partner asked for a small container of yogurt sauce they gave her a large container and charged her $10 for it and the rest went to waste. One time I got a spoiled baba ghanouj that was bubbly and rancid tasting. Another time they forgot the tabbouleh. I really want to support this local restaurant but I can't keep paying for things I'm not getting. Also every time you go in there they're yelling at one another and the vibe is very poor. I just want my tabbouleh to be lemony (so far only once or twice has it been lemony enough where I don't add my own) and to actually receive everything I order, especially as a regular. Or if I don't, credit me back for what you didn't give me. Is that too much to ask? I know people will say check your order but it's usually tied tight in bags and this time when my partner did check and it was wrong they didn't offer any refund. She didn't have time to wait for them to cook again. Just lost our business. Sad because I love Mediterranean food and supporting local. Update - they asked me to try it again and stated we would receive the whole order. One item was missing AGAIN! And they won't refund me because they say the website doesn't save card info. DO...
Read moreFirst things first: Their food is good. You will get the flavor freshness in the food. I liked, how this place draws a diverse crowd. Here is your experience which makes dampened all the excitement. I was there with my hungry 6 years old on 04/19/2025. I chose this place because the street foods are quicker to make than a fine dine. I ordered bunch of kabobs and their house speciality to go. We waited near the cashier almost for 35 minutes, before I went ahead asked if there is an estimated time for food coming out. They looked confused and then I found out that they gave my food to someone else who came in much after me. They said they were sorry and they would made the again. Here goes another 20 minutes of wait. I was feeling bad to make my hungry kid wait for food almost for an hour and standing next to the cash section. When I opened the food in my car, I found one dish is different than my original order. Unfortunately I don't eat that meat, we had to dump that. The second dish was undercooked ( perhaps they tried to cook faster) Well mistake happens,. What I felt they should have done: 1) someone should have noticed that we were standing there for more than half an hour and informed us about the mistake before I walked up to the cash section and asked about my food. 2) It would have been a good business spirit if they had done shown a gesture to make it up, no they did not and it looked it did don't affect them much. I plays try to encourage local business than big chains, but I felt I was taken for granted in the...
Read moreThis is my second visit to this restaurant and they didn't disappoint. In our first visit we ordered a couple of shawarmas, kababs, rice and falafel. We liked the chicken as the beef was a bit dry, but the falafel, rice and fries were excellent. We then decided to get a whole BBQ chicken for our second visit (take out) and we couldn't have been happier with the whole order, as the chicken was very tender, the rice was very delicious and the falafels were nice and crispy. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice family meal from a welcoming family restaurant.
Update I visited the restaurant again, with a guest that I had. I ordered the "Kabob House Mix - Serves 5" thinking it would be enough for a child and three adults (two of whom are females and do not eat much meat). Though it was delicious, I was extremely disappointed with the quantity and size of the plate. Unlike the picture advertised, the meat portions were very small and the rice was added generously to make up for it. For a $100 meal, I definitely expected more. I tried to advise the manager/owner after we were done, but I wasn't able to reach them. All I can say is I'm glad I didn't order this for a group of 3 regular meat eaters otherwise it would've been a grave mistake. Updated the rating from...
