Long review!
Ok, drinks were perfect. The house white chard I would def recommend. Wings: 10/10 crispy how they should be and it’s a true mild, not spicy st all. Pulled pork sandwich: I love the vinegar base that didn’t overpower but complicated the sauce. The sauce did not overpower anything. They gave the perfect amount of sauce. We opted to put the coleslaw on the side. Coleslaw: perfect amount seasoning and sweet and tart. Po boy sandwich: the seasoning was delicious. The spice crept up but on in a very slow building way that was enjoyable. My only issue, and it’s why we couldn’t give a 5 star in the Food category, the shrimp was a little too salty. But because of the base seasoning, we ate the shrimp anyway (its base seasoning is so so good!!!).The roll was a white French roll, not toasted which I didn’t mind at all. The All American Classic cheeseburger: He requested medium well, and the burger was cooked exactly as requested. So no worries if you prefer a medium burger. The veggies were fresh and condiments on the burger was the perfect amount.
Friendly staff. The gentleman who greeted us could tell we weren’t sure where to sit, pointed us for two options of seating. The young lady who helped us towards the end was friendly and attentive, but not over attentive where it makes you feel weird. When we left, everyone said goodbye! I’ve never had that happen and it was such a pleasant surprise!
Overall: if you come thru the area (my military peeps you know you looking for an area to visit!), stop here. Great people, yummy food, and friendly people who couldn’t be more welcoming. OH ! The TV we’re playing spots (of course it’s a pub!) but one tv was playing Wonder Woman 2. I really appreciated having something else to watch. So did my daughter.
EDIT: cost
For everything we ordered, to include 20% tip, was under 100. For the quality and freshness of food, the atmosphere, and the excellent staff, I think this price point is worth it and then some! If you’re looking for a place to hit up during your vacation or planning where to eat during your journey through here, make this your stop. We went for...
Read more8-26-25 update stopped in the other day. Ordered the Philly Cheese Steak & a order of chicken wings. The Cheese steak was ok. It comes with onions. Wish I would have added peppers or mushrooms to it.I really liked the wings. They were crispy. Needed a bit more sauce on them. However they were still delicious. 4-6-24 update went in here again today for lunch. I ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich.my company ordered the shrimp poboy & a BBQ pork sandwich. All the sandwiches were delicious. We all had the side of Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese wasn't that great. It tasted like the instant Mac and cheese. Wouldn't recommend getting the Mac and cheese as a side. The sandwiches though are really good. The table next to us was talking about how delicious all there food was aswell. Definitely recommend checking this place out. We will be back. I highly recommend the Nashville chicken or the BBQ sandwich...,...............We went for lunch around 1:30pm on a Wednesday. They had plenty of seating. They weren't really busy. We were seated right away. The place looked a lot bigger on the inside than it appeared to be on the outside. The menu had a nice selection. They had plenty of items that appeared to be in house made. We ordered the in house made fried cheese for a appetizer. It was pretty good. The cheese definitely had a smokey taste too it. I liked that it made it pretty unique. I ordered the fried nashville chicken sandwich. My friend had the French dip..the Nashville chicken sandwich was pretty good. It was juicy and not dried out chicken which was nice. My only suggestion is that they let the chicken rest on a paper towel to soak up some grease, instead of putting it directly on the bun/ lettuce. My friend said the French dip was ok. He said it was kinda bland.I thought it looked good and had a bite of it. It didn't think it was bland and I quite liked it. Overall I would recommend this place based on the items we ordered. Gonna give this place a try again some other time and try something else...
Read moreSmall cozy pub in downtown Seneca Falls. You almost call it a sports bar, they have TVs on just about every available space on the walls. Our first visit was ok, their food was pretty good. I thought the Thai Chicken was great, but a little too spicy for my better half. Her Chicken Ceasar Salad was very good with almost as much chicken as lettuce. My Cheeseburger was very tasty, but well done. I asked for it rare. The only major complaint would be the service. We were ignored when we arrived, a group that came in about five minutes after us were given menus and their drink order taken while we waited. We finally had to ask for menus. Our soup came first, luckily with spoons as there wasn't any silverware or napkins on the table. The waitress did bring us some before our...
