Poor experiences time after time. The food was decent so you figure it's worth dealing with the staff. Unfortunately, one can only deal with so many mistakes before it's no longer worth it. If you do choose to give them a shot, review your order with the people who work there multiple times. Many of the items listed on their menu online are not available in the deli itself. The staff has no idea of what they do and do not provide for their customers and are quick to come up with excuses. They also do NOT deliver as advertised on their website. You'll be forced to come get the food with the delivery fees still attached because they "already made the food and ran your card." I have only dealt with them on a small order basis but I can only imagine what a train wreck their catering services must be. If they can't handle a two sandwich order, I highly doubt they are capable of handling something of that magnitude. There are so many other Deli's in Kings Park, check them out before you come to this one. If not for their location I doubt this establishment would really see any business at all. I gave them multiple chances and both my pockets and stomach are...
Read moreVery disappointed. This place has changed. I was craving an "Anderson". The "Anderson" used to be an English muffin, sausage, egg and American cheese. The counterperson didn't know what an "Anderson" was. I explained. I also ordered a side of breakfast potatoes. When my name was called, the counterperson looked and noticed that there was nothing on the English muffin. I sar down to wait for them to remake the sNdwich. The potatoes were cold and soggy. I was called up again, I took the wrapped sandwich. I sat down, unwrapped the sandwich to find no cheese. Disgusted and disappointed, I left everything on the table and exited never to return. Andersons used to be a premiere NY Deli. Since thier Smithtown BBQ store closed down tie quality...
Read moreGreat deli, great service, and love their selection of specialty sandwiches.
You pretty much have to order one or you're going to pay a penalty. Order something off the cuff and they price piece it together until you're looking at $9.15-10 for a sandwich on a roll. Heros will approach $11-12. Order a specialty sandwich and you're looking at it being $.75-$1.50 cheaper. Kind of steep, but they're delicious so decide for yourself.
Will regularly get 3 egg sandwiches, on rolls, no heros, for the family and you're looking at $25 with nothing else, but you do get what you pay for.
All in all, a great experience at somewhat higher price. I frequent often and if their prices were just a bit more reasonable, 5 star...
