BLT Cafe Inc — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

Unbelievable?? My man has been dying to go here for the 2 years we’ve been living in the area and I was WRONGFULLY HESITANT because it doesn’t look like all too much from the outside- first of all, when you step in you feel like you’re home. Incredibly friendly staff, obviously daily regulars, the hum of passing trains, and wide open windows that bathe the place in sun takes the stress off you immediately. We went for two breakfast specials and I can confidently say that I’ve never had such a consistent breakfast. “I always complain and I don’t have a complaint, this is insane.” I said mid meal. Perfectly cooked over medium eggs, lightly charred hash browns, no overabundance of any oil or under abundance of flavor. The coffee was perfect, not bitter, and the pancakes fluffy beyond belief and huge. I could have easily done that whole breakfast 3x over, with that perfect sense of fullness after. This is definitely our breakfast spot from now on....

A hidden gem!

So glad to have found this little cafe! My husband and I ordered 2 eggs over easy, which came with home fries and toast. We also ordered the corned beef hash. The eggs were done perfectly and the home fries were crispy on the outside, fully cooked and deliciously seasoned. The corned beef hash was amazing! You could tell this was homemade. This little restaurant is NOT to be overlooked BY ANY MEANS. The breakfasts i have had here are out of this world, the service for eating in is excellent and the staff including the cook really make you feel at home. Its next to the train tracks which is actually pretty neat. Parking is limited but i suggest the trainstation parking if the lot is full. This place has me addicted. I will be...
