Mama Tita's Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

I am one of the people who works at the elections. We have to arrive at 5 AM and we’re generally not out of there till after 10 PM with very little break time.

The owner of this pizzeria did the most amazing thing during the presidential election, they supplied about 20 pizzas for us as a courtesy.

I must say that I am not a fan of pizza and haven’t eaten Pizza in years. The one that looked the most interesting was the vegetable pizza and after one bite, I was totally blown away.

In all my 75 years, I don’t remember ever having a slice of pizza as delicious as this. I am looking forward to actually ordering pizza as a meal from them in the future.

If you have an opportunity to go by their pizzeria, Order the vegetarian and tell them thank you so much for the wonderful gift and the consideration for the people working...

I ordered "fried calamari" for pick up. When I got home, I saw that: 1- calamari was served on a bed of lettuce. This I had not seen before. I think it was done that way to give it more volume 2- Calamari was of such a low quality that I didn't even finish it. I think frozen dishes in the supermarket would be even better. 3- Calamari was barely even warm. It was certainly a microwave job that was not done right. This is my very first order from this establishment and they have lost me. Very disappointing experience. I would go back to Catfish...

I walk in and the lady who works here is taking care of her kids and feeding them and on her cell phone, I walk in she goes behind the counter to serve me and then proceeds to touch the pizza with her hands and not washing them, your dealing with food and kids at the same time and not washing in between is so unsanitary, this is how people get sick, and unfortunately with covid being around we all have to take extra precautions but clearly this place doesn’t see it the way most of America see...
