The Boardroom Cafe and Catering Company — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

Came to this deli a few times with excitement to try the AMAZING food. When I walked in the deli was VERY clean and fully stocked on grab and go as well as drinks. First time here I got an egg sandwich bagel wasn't fresh tasting and my order was wrong (had cheese) Second time I came here the older man at the register asked me about my order three times and still did not get it right, but I just took it the way he gave it to me. I was going to get a salad from the grab and go case, but it looked like the salads have been sitting in the case long because at the bottom there was a lot of water! Third time A LOT of arguing going on in the back with two older people also the wait for a cold cut sandwich was about 15-20 minutes. I asked about my order and was told several times it will be right out finally it came out and went back to my desk it was missing lettuce. Not a big deal, but when you order something and expect to get what you ordered and waited a long time YES I was disappointed. Hate to see such a beautiful place struggle with making the correct food. Hopefully will be back soon and all the issues I have experienced will go away.

UPDATE: Went back last week to try the food again during my lunch break. Food was delicious, but the time it took to order then very long to get my food was VERY long. The gentle man up front was little slow and backed up with a few people waiting to order as well as get there food. I personally recommend if you are in a hurry like me to order your lunch online so it is ready for pick up...

A few weeks ago while on lunch break, I had the pleasure of dining at the Boardroom Cafe and Catering Company, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. Since then, I have been captivated by this place and have made it a point to visit frequently. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The atmosphere was welcoming and offered comfortable seating options alongside televisions for those interested in keeping up with news or sports, or simply providing ideal setting for a leisurely meal with friends.

Now, let's talk about the food. Each item that I have tried has been bursting with flavor and made with fresh ingredients. I have a weakness for the chicken pesto panini at this cafe. While I've sampled other menu items, they were all delightful. What truly impresses me, however, is the unmistakable freshness of their homemade pesto sauce.

But what truly sets the Boardroom Cafe apart is the exceptional service. The staff are attentive, friendly and always ready for a friendly chat.

Overall I can't recommend Boardroom Cafe highly enough. Whether you're looking for a quick bite, or simply a nice cup of coffee, this place is sure to satisfy...

Those of us who work in proximity to the Boardroom Cafe are quite fortunate for this perk! That they make it so easy to order via social media simply expands the circle for those anxious to break up their day with some excellent culinary options to eat or drink! The options for breakfast, lunch or simply taking a break are quite diverse and very reasonably priced. Historically in my experiences, building food options often give off more of a 'cafeteria' vibe... in quality, service, and cleanliness.... QUITE DIFFERENT at The Boardroom... as the name implies this facility allows for a sense of essentially 'going out to eat at a restaurant' without [in my case] leaving the building. Incredibly friendly staff, very involved and ever present ownership, clean space and plenty of room to sit and eat while enjoying multiple options of work diversion via various wide screen TV's... all while eating the freshest of foods. As I tell George the owner so often... coming to eat here is a treat, as I never knew such unique flavor possible as created here!
