I am a 7-Eleven taquito-oholic. The Monterey Jack chicken are to die for. So when I entered the 7-Eleven to get my daily dose I was frozen in shock, and in awe of the sheer, delicious assortment and variety of tasty treats before me! There is nothing more disappointing than walking into a 7-Eleven, and finding the hot food cases laid barren and empty. But what lay before me was a cornucopia of hot and tempting finger foods. All my senses were on pure overload, starting with the upbeat, salsa music, playing from the house speakers to the smells of the hot lunchtime snacks tickling my olfactory system. I was almost hit with decision paralysis from the bevy of delicious morsels. Of course I was going with my typical favorite of the three Monterey Jack taquitos, but considering itâs Friday and I had a little extra pocket money, I decided to splurge and get myself a cheeseburger slider and classic chicken slider as a treat to myself for a hard worked week. â You deserve thisâ I said to myself sealing the deal. Last thing on the agenda is to grab my two Mountain Dew Code red sodas and make my way to the cashier. I was greeted by an extremely upbeat gentleman who greeted me wholeheartedly. I complimented him on the grand selection before me, and which he thanked me and told me that I was always welcome here at this establishment. I tipped my hat in response. As I turned for the door, I noticed that I held my head a little higher as I pass through the door and out into the gray rainy...
Read moreI had a very disappointing and concerning experience at the 7-Eleven in Brentwood. ⢠First, they had a sign clearly showing a 2-for-$3 taquito deal, but when I got to the register, they didnât honor it. I asked about the price calmly, and instead of explaining, the cashier started tapping the register and saying, âSir, pay now! Sir, pay now!â with attitude. ⢠On top of that, once you pick up a hot food item like taquitos or wings, you canât put it back â and they know that. So even if the price is wrong or misleading, youâre stuck paying for it. It feels like theyâre pressuring customers to overpay, and thatâs not okay. ⢠The chicken wings were completely dried out, clearly old and stale. I even have a picture to show how bad they were. This food shouldâve been tossed, not sold. Itâs not just low quality â itâs a health concern when hot food sits out too long.
Itâs not about a few bucks â itâs about doing right by the customer and keeping food safe. This store is clearly cutting corners, and I think corporate should really investigate whatâs happening at...
Read moreNever thought I would review a gas station but I'm not sure what happen to this one. Wireless pay doesn't work anymore at the pumps for the past few weeks if not months making it an inconvenience. Some are labeled some are not I only found out when I moved to a different pump then the one I normally go to. Now the main reason I'm writing this review is false advertisement on the prices. I got charged 3.89$ using my debit card since when did debit get charged credit!? Now I tried to also print out my receipt and I have to go see the clerk for it too, alot of inconvenience when you need to pop in and out good thing I can see my charges from my bank. Come on BP & 7/11 what...
