Bamboo Southampton — Restaurant in Town of Southampton

Normally don’t do reviews but fell in love with this place and had to make sure they got the recognition they deserved! I Wanted to try something new and decided to try bamboo tonight. When we walked in the all of the staff was so friendly and welcoming. we were offered seating inside or in their patio area we chose outside and it was so beautiful! I have a very picky 2 year old and was a bit hesitant since it’s an Asian place but the kids menu was perfect for him ! We ordered him the kids pizza and it was a huge pizza with 8 slices. The pizza tasted fresh and homemade which you don’t get a lot when it comes to kids meals and my son LOVED it. Not to mention they hand out toy swords to kids which is pretty cool and keeps them happy and entertained. For my order I got the salmon avocado roll and added crunch on top and the sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken. Everything was amazing fresh and tasty. Will definitely be returning...

Very friendly staff, great atmosphere and great location. You can tell they are trying but the food is not good. You can tell that not much is made fresh. The soft shell crab in the spider roll was burnt. Like black and crispy. The other 2 rolls fell apart when you tried to pick them up. The 2 different dumplings were definitely pre made and previously frozen. Like the same ones you buy at the grocery store. Also tried the bamboo lo mein which had shimp pork and chicken. The chicken and pork were definitely pre cooked and added at the end and heated up. It was hard and dry. Until they start cooking things fresh made to order or from scratch kitchen which is very easy with Asian food I do not recommend eating here. I could have bout all this food at a grocery store in the frozen section for 35$...

We went to Bamboo for one of our bachelorette weekend dinners. They gave us happy hour drinks even though we missed it by one minute. They have a lot of vegetarian options and everything we ordered was amazing (veggie noodles, sushi rolls, appetizers). More than that though, the staff and service was above and beyond. They stood out because they were one of the only business in this area that seemed pleased to serve us, with good attitudes, and that really elevated our experience after going to several other places in the Hamptons where the bartenders and servers seemed like they hated being there.
