Aside from having to repeat myself when discussing purchase options, this happened: I selected a large clam chowder from the fridge. I asked for half heated up. Rep said sure no problem. Good start. But the counter rep switched my chosen container for a lighter weight one and one with a cracked lid returned to me. Wait, what?! When I asked counter kid why, he denied switching it - but I purposefully chose a slightly heavier one for same price as others. I mean, wouldn’t you? A must! If you want authentic and fresh, this is the place. Whether you get fresh seafood and sides to go, or eat there, in the small outside eating area, you won't be disappointed. We had Lunch there then took a smorgasbord of fresh seafood home for a group dinner. We tried it all... clams, oysters, lobster, salmon, shrimp, New England clam chowder... all fabulous. The staff is friendly and helpful, even gave a free lesson on shucking clams! We are for 2 weeks and been there 3 times... bordering addiction! They will prepare any item there, fresh, or you can take it home to prepare it. Prices were very fair... clams were buy 2 dozen get 1 dozen free, they shuck for $3 per dozen, so we had 1 dozen there and took 2...

Called in an ordered takeout, was told 20 minutes and it took an hour and 10. I arrived after 20 minutes and the staff was incredibly rude. I ordered 3 fried fishermen's platters and everything was over fried. Also it stated that it came with flounder but for some reason, we received cod. I also asked for a small amount of lobster salad (after waiting 30 minutes in the store) to try and the employees continued to talk about how weird it was to order so little as if I weren't 3 feet away from them. I'm glad I didn't ask for a half of a pound because it was terrible anyway.
