Not a visible easy place to see from main street a 9pm at night. Was glad it was open as there isnt may places on a weekday open for grocery and in my case in need to western union money. The store schedule to close at 10pm. I arrive to the customer service desk at 9:28. I was not recieved well by the young lady working the desk, and was told that the customer service counter was closed at 9:30 as she was closing and running her report. Though close it was not 930. She proceed to emphasize that shes closed the register and could not help me. Another customer, a young man came up who needed to purchase cigarettes, she helped that individual. I got inline inline behind him and fortunately my patience paid off, she found kindness to assist me. So, hard to find, dark parking area, congested door entrace. They were there every day filling the shelves and helping shoppers negotiate this terrible time. The staff always went out of their way to help you locate products, estimate deliveries and keep us all safe while in the store. They all have my highest praise. As far as the wide selection of products, it could not be better. Also, the savings for store members are terrific. All that's required us to sign up and give them your phone number which you use at check out. You can see all of your savings on the receipt. This isn't one of those huge nega-markets and that makes shopping there an easier experience ( you don't have to walk miles to get things). However, stepping inside felt like stepping into a time machine set to 1980. In a place like the Hamptons, where luxury is the standard and expectations run high, the store’s overall aesthetic and experience don’t match the upscale environment around it.
For a more elevated grocery experience, I imagine Citarella just around the corner attracts those seeking premium quality and ambiance. Additionally, FreshDirect seems to have solidified its role in delivering high-end groceries to this area, catering to customers who want convenience and quality.
