DiPaulo's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Tonawanda

If you're into trashy customer service, inconsistent food and a high school hang out for a pizzeria this is the place for you. A few weeks ago, my family and i spent about $85 on takeout for the bills game, pizza wings and fingers. Everything was okay but the fingers w were tiny and i mean TINY. For $45 you expect quality or maybe compensation in quantity so i called and the manager that evening was super nice and understanding and CLAIMED to add a credit to my account for future orders so tonight we decided lets use the credit and give dipaulos another try. Well the manager tonight couldnt find the credit because it was never posted. She definitely made me feel like i was lying and accused me of not having the right info. Worst experience and an even worse attitude. Im a kitchen manager myself and this was NOT how you handle a situation. This place has gone down in quality significantly. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Thanks to your manager on duty this evening, you lost a frequent and well paying customer for good. I'll bring my money else where from now...

For years I would talk to everyone I knew about how DiPaulo's pizza was easily the best in WNY. Recently ordered a large pizza at 5:30ish pm. Was told it was going to be about a 45 minute wait for delivery. At around 6:45pm I had to call and ask where our pizza was. I was given the answer "our deliveries got backed up, we are waiting for the driver to get back and then yours will be on its way". As someone who has worked in the pizza business before I understand there are certain things that no one can control, however we did not end up getting our pizza until 7:15pm. Not being a huge issue at all, being one of the top places in WNY I can understand the delay. What I think is completely unacceptable is that the pizza was lukewarm at best. Almost 2 hours after we placed our order, given a 45 minute delivery time, we were given a pizza that was double the time originally told, and cold. Started getting food from here in the spring and the cosistancy of how the food was made and cooked was good. Something has changed in the last month and the food is either overcooked and burnt or super greasy. I ordered a pizza different times of the day and week and it came out the same each time. Ordered wings a few times and each time they are either undercooked, overcooked and there isn't the equal amount of flats and drums which is not a big deal. The consistancy is gone.
