John's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Town of Tonawanda

First to start I ordered two cheese pizza and one pepperoni and cheese. Before taking my order the young man was consistently touching his clothing and his face he seem to have just got finished with eating something. Upon taking my order the young man was maskless, after taking my order which came to $10 and some change. He took my money then proceeded to touch things on the counter after he was done with me he went straight to prepare my food. The young man in question proceeded to cut the slices I asked for then pick them up with his bare hands no gloves,as just before he was handling my money and touching thing on the counter and his dirty clothing. While trying to pick up the pizza wiping his hands on his clothing which were really dirty. I feel sick to my stomach we just came out of a pandemic and this level of cleanliness is unacceptable, this place needs to be shut down...

Ive been looking for a good pizzeria in tonawanda and up until now the entire town has been very disappointing. I have had to go to Kenmore or niagara falls for good pizza. But there are times that I dont want to drive and have been settling with francos. Francos is the king of undercooked dough. Ive passed this pizzeria multiple times and judged it by the building. The building is 1000% not taken care of. The owner seriously needs to clean it up. But the pizza i ordered was by far the best pizza I've had in a very long time. Reading other reviews I am skeptical and I know different cooks means different pizza, so we'll see. I will be ordering pizza again. This order was 4/16/25 at 12:30pm. I used to absolutely love their chicken finger subs! I haven’t ordered there in awhile and was craving their chicken finger sub and I was absolutely DISAPPOINTED to the max. The outside of the sub roll was burnt to a crisp, the chicken fingers were so over cooked that there was barely any meat in it. I only asked for blue cheese and jalapeños, no lettuce, no tomatoes and the sub was dripping juice everywhere. I couldn’t tell if it was the watery blue cheese or juice from the jalapeños. I ate a few bites and my son had some because I didn’t want to waste my money, but it was the worst chicken finger sub I have ever had. They must have new employees because I’ve never had this issue in the 6 years I’ve been ordering from them. I will definitely not order from them again, I’ll just go...
