The staff was very helpful. We couldn't find any parking, so when we called, the one lady actually came outside to point us in the right direction, lol. The waitress we had also had no problems checking on the menu items I had questions about. The soups are delicious. I got the roasted red pepper and tomato, I can't remember what my friend got, but she loved hers too. She also said the burger she got was the best burger she's ever had. I believe it was the owner who came over and talked to me about being gluten free (because I asked about the soup, which is also vegetarian, yum) to let me know that they do also carry gf bread, so that's good to know! I didn't give them 5 stars because being a gf vegetarian, there's not many options besides what I had (soup and salad) because even their french fries are coated in flour. We stopped in here for the first time a few months ago, not expecting much (from outside, it didn't look like a restaurant). it was not crowded, and the staff were delightful. Then we tried the soup... oh. WOW. What a nice surprise. Typically, there are 5 - 8 different kinds of soup, and I have never been disappointed. I have had the BEST corn chowder I have ever had.
