China Garden — Restaurant in Town of Union

This place used to be the best Chinese food I had ever had. Then one day their food became different. It was not nearly as good. Before that their food became better and better. After it wasn’t nearly as good I assumed it was just a one time thing but time and time again their food wasn’t as good. Then it got less and less good until it wasn’t good at all. Oddly as their food got worse, their prices went up!!! More and more their food got less good and their prices became more rediculous until I sought other Chinese food to order and found Panda which is my new favorite Chinese food ever!! Pandas food is superior to even the best China gardens food ever was!! I will order from Panda from now on!!! Also I should mention that at China garden they accidentally overcharge your card sometimes sometimes by 20 whole dollars!! You have to check your bank statement to notice it and then go back and show your receipt to make them give your money they owe you back!! So frustrating!!! Another thing is China garden stopped delivering which makes them even worse. To sum it up you have to drive to go get poor quality Chinese food that costs more than fantastic quality Chinese food that is nearby!!! And the other...

Been going there for 2 years no problem until today. They gave half portion of beef broccoli paid dinner prices.They also made EggFoo Young in 3 small pieces and gave a small portion of gravy that was NOT cook. The noodle was OK but cut down on the beef. The owner said cost is going up but don't cut the portion in half and charge us full price that's not right. Inxrease prices if needed.. They did not try to fix thing with me or offer a discount on next order either. They expect we will come back but there are many Chinese places in a 4 mile distance. Hope they fix the problem my business will go to Endwell or Vestal or Johnsons city. The food was not that good...

Sesame chicken tasted like chemicals. The crab ragoons are terrible. Tastes like old oil in the fryer. The chemical taste from the chicken was disgusting. This was my 3rd time trying china garden and each time unfortunately there was some red flags and gross items. We gave the chicken back to the lady at the register and she tried the sauce, made a funny face and then lied to us and said “it’s just the sauce” then offered a full refund and offered to replace the food. For this she gets another star on “Service”. However you wouldn’t offer a refund AND a brand new plate of food if it wasn’t bad. Not going back to this restaurant...
