I have ordered from domino's a million times. Never have I ever had such an awful experience. I ordered food for delivery with my paypal account. Forgot to change the phone number. The app told me my order was being made and was in quality check. 40 minutes pass and nothing. I finally call the store and they tell me they haven't made it because I gave the wrong number and they couldn't confirm it. I've never had to confirm anything. So they then told me they would get onto making it. 10 more minutes pass, I get a call saying they need proof of my payment because my account name doesn't match my payment info and because the number was wrong. I am transgender. My preferred name is not on my payment for legal reasons, and yet they told me they could not make my order until I proved I was who I was. At this point, an hour after making the order, I had them cancel it. I've never had this issue before and I've never felt more turned off by an experience. When gas went from 2.50 to 4.50, they added a delivery fee, fair enough, now that gas is back in the two's... $5 delivery fee??? For $5 extra it shouldn't take an hour for a two mile away delivery. Also once it's left the store it has taken an hour to make the 2 mile trip, yet he still shows up in a car... it took that long because they made multiple order stops at $5 a pop, it must be their single biggest money maker. Time I ordered before they gave me someone else's order, too hungry to care after waiting 90 mins. Ten mins later the delivery guy shows back up and wants to swap pizza. Seriously wanted to give me a pizza that had been in someone else's house, that seems very unsanitary. 0 quality control there. When we called to see what could be done, Ian who is supposedly the manager was very rude and disrespectful and just kept saying "that's not what it says on our end" even though when we put the correct information in on our end, he didn't want to hear it and just kept rudely saying "well that's not what we see on our end." We work in a very professional place and deal with the public everyday and I would never speak to a client in the manner he spoke to us. He did not even offer an alternative, just very rude!
