Golden Star — Restaurant in Town of Union

idk about coming here anymore as a customer. last two times were not the best experiences. last time i ordered, i was overcharged, even when i had to pay with cash and card (it was a split bill). i was never reimbursed for this.

tonight, i ordered general tso and sweet n sour pork.. was given the pork but not the general tso… instead i was given a completely different dish that was suppose to be for my partner… i called to get this situated and the usual lady on the phone acted clueless as if i wasn’t just there 15 minutes ago (i walked to get my food) and basically was telling me wont do anything about it.. guess ill have to fight this one with the bank

edit: gotten sick - literally puked after discovering this was on my meal. people, check your food more closely next time...

We usually love the food and service here, but tonight we ordered two orders of C17, like we always get. Got home and found that we had the wrong food. Assuming they gave us someone else's order, we went back. She argued loudly with us and insisted that I said A17 instead of C17. She would not budge. We ended up having to come home with the chicken and crab. It wasn't even good. The imitation crab was mushy. It didn't even need chewing. There wasn't much flavor. The fried rice has nothing in it. Just rice and whatever seasoning they use. No veggies, no pork. It was very disappointing, and we won't...

Went here for the first time, and was impressed , everything was made fresh so waiting wasn't an issue, portions are really good for the price of the meal, we got two combos for 2 adults and a side of shrimp lo mein and cant complain. The rice was perfectly cooked , the egg roll was pipin hot . The inside of the restaurant is small but it doesn't take away from the service.

Thanks for such a great first time experience, we will be returning again in the future...
