We ordered from here today, this particular order asked for
Medium Well Cheese-Burger Onions Lettuce
What we received was a burger so well-done that it was cracked and falling apart when I tried to pick it up. Zero onions in sight. Worst of all, the pathetic half-piece of lettuce that I got was slimy and out of date, like it was expired or close to expiring. Which isn't something to sneeze at when salmonella likes to thrive on expired produce.
Important to note that the lovely lady who took our order repeated it exactly as we asked several times (even suggested we do medium well instead of rare so it'll be a little pink and not red!), so this is an issue with whichever chef was on duty tonight. It's like he read this ticket and disregarded most of it and then gave me a worse version of what I asked for.
We called requesting either a refund or a credit so we could come back another day, and not just write this place off. The manager on duty refused a refund, instead repeatedly asking if we want something remade. Why would we want the same chef touching our food again tonight? The rest of this 67 dollar order went into the trash because the preparation of the burger was enough to cause concern for more expired ingredients or a dirty cooking space (see photos for what I mean by this.) We only wanted a refund for this burger and the sandwich my mother ordered, which had its own issues, albeit none as bad as this.
I don't even know what I'm looking at in the last photo. It was stuck to the top of the burger above the cheese, which is weird. I've never seen anything like this. I wouldn't even feed this to a street dog. Maybe the onions up and ran away from this biohazard. Smart of those onions!
I would've been willing to give this place another chance, as my mother loves this place and suggested it tonight, but the attitude of the manager on duty was ridiculous. Not to mention the fact that we tipped for this. Ridiculous. If there was some special reason we couldn't be issued a refund, it wasn't explained or mentioned and therefore I'm not considering that hypothetical in my write-up. If that was the case, it's bad practice to not explain why.
Would you spend 13 dollars on a burger that looks like this?
Edit: The same chef we had problems with tonight is mentioned in a previous review by "Krista Gibbons" about someone getting yelled at by him and receiving a burnt pizza without the right toppings. Same exact guy, seems to be a pattern that should...

This was a while back when Liz was the bartender so I canât attest to who they have now, but at that time, she was AWESOME and whoever was the cook then was awesome as well. It did seem to take quite a while for our food to come out, but since it was so good I overlooked that. Hopefully they have gotten some more kitchen staff so food could get out quicker though because it would be a shame to lose customers based on wait time instead of quality... since the quality seriously is fantastic! We had a bad experience with him a. Couple weeks ago and tonight, was terrible with him. We ordered a large pizza extra jalapeños and sausage and a dozen clams, so he walks out w the pizza burnt all to hell on the first and barely toppings when we asked for extra jalapeños. He drops it off and walks away, I ask him where the clams were and he said he only had two hands and waited for them to open, they came and were like warm.
