Amazing food, service, and beautiful designs. This family owned local small business deserves way more hype and business! They have sooo much variety in Asian food and everything is so delicious!!
We got soo much food to celebrate a birthday.
The rock shrimp is crispy, tangy, saucy and delicious! Over a bed of lettuce to balance the sauce.
The volcano salad is a great start to the meal with avocado, crisps, cucumber and lettuce.
Steak teriyaki is so delicious as well, perfectly cooked steak topped with the teriyaki sauce with sides of vegetables. We ate some of the steak before remembering to take a picture hence why there's an empty spot.
Thai Spicy Chicken comes with a side of rice but we asked for no rice. Delicious, not too spicy, chicken not dry, super filling!
Steak and Chicken hibachi is similar to the steak teriyaki in flavor, but has more of a stir fry taste and also super delicious. The meats are not overcook, very tender and juicy.
The sushi here is phenomenal, we always come here for sushi. Their presentation is beautiful and they don't skimp on the portion sizes! Very balanced fish to rice ratio.
As an eel lover, the eel sashimi satisfies that craving. Big pieces of eel topped with eel sauce, it's warm and fresh. Meat is not too thin and a great addition to our meal.
The salmon crispy rice and crab crispy rice are brother nicely fried and topped with salmon/crab with avocado and sauce. The chewy rice interior with the outer crispy exterior pairs so well with the toppings. Huge portions as well! The rice balls are the size of a ping pong ball!
The ramen is also delicious, topped with pork slices, perfectly cooked egg, the noodles are the perfect texture and the broth is hearty and delicious
They also have seafood boil here which is surprisingly considering they are an Asian fusion restaurant. The boil was surprisingly delicious and huge! We got the garlic butter flavor and it was packed with sauce at the bottom and topped with so much corn, potatoes, broccoli, sausage and of course seafood, which included crawfish, lobster tail, crab, and mussels!
We also got boba drinks, the regular and taro but forgot to take some pictures. It's so delicious, not overly sweet, boba is a great chewy texture and flavor.
Overall, the service was amazing, the waitress is very friendly and gives great recommendation. Beautifully designed Japanese inspired interior and the food speaks for itself! The price is very reasonable and cheaper compared to these other sushi/hibachi places. The best part is they have everything from Boba drinks to Sushi, Ramen, Hibachi, and Seafood boil! You can never run out of things to try and I promise you won't be disappointed by any of...
Read moreStopped there by chance on July 4th. I had to work that day and left too early for my wife to make me lunch. Skylark was closed
I figured that an Asian place, would be open on the holiday. but was dreading going to a Chinese place(guys it might taste good... But your lying to yourselves if it's good for you).
I saw Fushimi. Asian fusion. I'm like thank God I can get something fresh.
First impressions were good. For a strip mall Asian joint, the restaurant was surprisingly clean.
I ordered a shrimp roll(8$)and a bento box(13$) great value and great fresh flavor.
The beef teriyaki was a strip steak. Not some mystery meet that is 3D printed in China. It was cooked rare, perfect. The avocado roll perfect. My shrimp tempora roll.
The staff was attentive, ready to help. Of course I was one of 2 tables.
Took about 20-25 minutes. And Im driving back to the job. Ideal.
I was impressed enough to tell my family about it, not common for me. And prob will go there now instead of Fuji San since they are out of business. Of course, my wife, not wanting to be out done, cooked beef teriyaki that night and it was better then the beef teriyaki that was served me. But that doesn't mean Fushimi's teriyaki sauce isn't delicious, just means my wife is a better cook.
I think for 13$ the bento box is such a better value, especially for contractors who fall into a death trap of horrible food choices and given the fact that because of sub-flation sandwiches are easily 10-13$. So in reality eating at a decent Asian place, Fushimi for lunch is now well within the range of a contractor looking for a healthy, fresh and flavorful meal.
I will def go back with the family. When we are...
Read moreI'm not from the area. But in my travels I decided to give this place a try as I was in the mood for Asian. Firstly, the building on the outside has seen better days but the inside is actually very nice and has a relaxing atmosphere. The menu was abnormally large so it was hard to decide, yes. However, the one thing that is very common is that if the menu is that big, then most if not all ingredients are frozen or premade. I'm a very big believer in "Fresh is flavor" especially if you know what to do with your ingredients. I didn't care too much how my server was basically hovering over me while I was making my decision and I felt rushed. I ordered the spicy crab roll which was ok at best. I also ordered the nabeyaki udon which was a huge disappointment. The chicken looked like it had been soaking in water for 3 days, there was lettuce in it as well, which is not even supposed to be in there in the first place in any traditional Asian style soup, or any other soup that I know of. The green onions were as big as green beans (They should be cut way smaller and on an angle if you want to be fancy), there was something off about the aroma as well. Not like it had gone bad but there was something I didn't like. Very bland and unappetizing overall. I'm disappointed more so for wasting food since I hate doing that. But the portion they give you is basically 2 large meals. Do not let this determine your decision to visit this establishment. I know some people don't mind food like this but it's just not right for me. I hope you have a better experience and I also would like to see this place do well as a business....
