First time ever at the Ale House on Friday 1/5/24. Been driving by it for years but for some reason we never went. Now I’m mad it took me so long to get there! What a hidden gem. Very small inside but also comfortable. The bartender/server was Erin and she is awesome. Very very nice, fun and on the ball when you need a drink. I didn’t count the exact number, but they have 20+ beers on tap and also have a very extensive whiskey selection along with all your other favorite liquors. And the food? Absolutely delicious. We had the weekly special pizza which was a white garlic base, topped with spinach, diced tomatoes, diced onions and a balsamic glaze. Amazing flavor and the dough was cooked to crispy perfection. We also tried the grilled chicken sandwich with a spicy rub. Also grilled to perfection, great flavors with L/T/O on a soft Roma’s Bakery roll. Our friends that we were with each got a different burger which looked awesome as well. Not to mention, a bunch of other different menu options I saw come out to other tables looked fantastic. All in all I would highly recommend the Ale House and I believe my wife and I will be regularly customers...
Read moreThe music is a the most perfect volume. Easy listening rock music. Calm vibes. The best variety of good beer. I wanna crawl in the corner of the bar with a beer and a blanket and just chill. The staff are so attentive and nice. I wanna crawl in the corner with a blanket and beer and just vibe out in the place. I really cannot express to you how perfect the volume of the music is in this place. I know what you’re thinking… you’re thinking “who thinks of the volume of the music?!” I do. It’s me. They’re playing Fleetwood Mac, the Stones, soft rock, classic rock, 90’s-00’s rock. Finally a bar that’s not playing bro/boot locker country. It’s like I walked into this place and I’m in a European bar with American music. I cannot express to you how easy going this place is. Actually don’t go here because I want this place...
Read moreI have very mixed feelings about reviewing this place. On one hand I don’t want to review it at all in hopes that every time I come it will be the same people, on the other I want it to be here every time I’m in the area. Get the ribeye and ignore what it looks like I assure you it’s worth it. The pizza is good too. Thing is you are looking up bars for drinks and probably less concerned about the food. The beer selection has been better than most bars in the country let alone the area for years and continues to be. Did someone say whiskey, they have that too with a selection that would be home in Kentucky. Point is this may just be one of the best dive bars in the country, you can’t go wrong here unless you were after a domestic and they still...
