The selections are nice, however the owner needs to take a class in Common Courtesy when running a Business. Some of her employees are no better, but I don't blame them because they watch their bosses' callous additude and then they follow suit. Then the girl rushes you out like you are some type of nuisance. Some guy was in the back when I went to pick up my cake, who did not work there while the owner was making a cake. I guess it was for him, but why couldn't he wait in front like a regular customer? How sanitary is that? Health Department take notice. Read moreI have grown up enjoying Carvel Ice cream and absolutely love it. However since the new owner took over the Middletown store last year I have avoided going in as much as possible. In fact I have pulled up, looked through the window and saw she was there and left. For the owner of a business not only is she nasty and rude but she doesn’t seem to know how to prepare any of the items on the menu properly. On several occasions I’ve received the wrong order or was over charged, Oh and if you try to bring it to her attention she will catch an attitude. It’s really sad that customers who are giving their money to an establishment are treated so poorly.The only thing saving this store is the employees. Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. I called and ordered a fudgy the whale cake for a 50th birthday and retirement party. The girl asked me if I wanted to pay then which I did. My mom lives nearby and I said she would be picking it up Friday early afternoon. When she picked it up she picked up extra crunchies and bought herself something. The person rang up the cake also. When we realized what happened at the party I called and some kid who answered said to call the next day when a manager would be in. I asked what the managers name was and he started talking ghetto and hung up on me!!!! Terrible experience and customer service!!!!
