Bagel World — Restaurant in Town of Wappinger

I got the everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. I really had to use the bathroom when I got there (if you have read my other reviews this should not surprise you at all lol) so I'm not sure if she would have asked if I wanted the bagel toasted. It wasn't. There was way too much cream cheese also...I ended up with half a bagel worth of schmeer left over and that's only bc I didn't think to preserve it for future bagels... If I had I would probably have had enough for a whole second one. I did like the flavor though...very whipped butter vibe and fresh crunchy veggies. The coffee had too much cream but was a good flavor. Lesson here for me is bathroom first, then order, give details of how I want things. If you like a ton of schmeer and a light coffee you are gonna love your order as is. I'm picky I guess. It was pretty early so the place felt pristine and clean...all chairs pushed in tight with tables, no crumbs on tables along the walls. Nice.

Bathroom..I haven't been here since well before the pandemic. I remember there being 2 bathrooms...men's/women's. Now the back hall is employees only and women's room has been changed to unisex. It was fine. The hand dryer was one of those little cheap ones that isn't worth using. There were seat covers above the toilet 💯. I liked the hook on the back of the door for my purse. I had to use my shirt for touchless door handle use and was glad I had hand sanitizer in my purse for handling my bagel afterwards. I would pee here again.

I was told by my coworker to come here. Biggest mistake of my life horrible service very rude people not friendly never smiled. I ordered a bagel and they started to ring me up & didn’t even asked me if I wanted coffee. I had to tell them I need coffee too. Very very slow service as well. I had to sit there for like 10 minutes before you can order and you’re the only one Online. They need to get nicer employees and a better why of serving people. Maybe have one person take orders, one person making the order and one person taking cash. Horrible horrible never going back again. The food wasn’t bad but for the service and the price you could go...

THIS PLACE IS FIRE!!!! I go here a few times a week and always have a wonderful experience. The food is excellent— the bagels are fresh and there are a million options of cream cheese and additions. It is all reasonably priced, if anything the bagels are on the cheaper side. Best of all are the workers, Alan is truly passionate about giving customers an amazing experience, and it’s a delight to see him every time and hear his recommendations. This establishment has added so much to the community, I look forward to the business expanding and wish it all the best. May God bless Bagel...
