I Love Rosa — Restaurant in Town of Waterford

First of all Rosa, your food is gorgeous. I ordered a little of everything to try you out, since I live just up the hill.

I ordered the chicken quesadilla, tacos 3 ways, burrito, burrito bowl, and peppered chicken.

The peppered chicken looks like it came out of a magazine and tasted just as good. My 9 year old ate the tacos and let's just say it started with an mmm, did not request sour cream, and continued in silence to eat every morsel. She loved the chips, stolen from my burrito. Every bite was flavored and the chicken was perfect. The rice, albeit the brightest I've ever seen, had perfect flavor and did not take away from the important parts of the burrito, which are the pico, cheese and chicken imo.

The final surprise for me were the 4 sauces offered. Hot, which was a delicious pico-like, spicy, fresh, salsa. Avocado, which was creamy and tasty, a beautiful lime color. Chipotle, which was smoky and spicy. Lastly Jalapeño, which was the best surprise. It had the texture of a salad dressing with a spicy kick. Absolutely wonderful.

Note to the owners: I gave 5 stars for service and atmosphere because I thought it not fair to rank you lower just because I decided to take out. The short interaction I had with your staff was pleasant and your place...

My family and I love a good Mexican meal, and kept hoping we'd get a traditional Mexican restaurant in the area. We tend to end up at Moe's (I know, not exactly traditional) but have had issues with quality and accuracy of the orders there. Hearing about this new location, we knew we had to give it a try. Let me start by saying my son is one of the pickiest eaters, so that's always a concern too. We debated just making him a cheese quesadilla at home, but decided he would give the restaurant a try. Come to find out, he (and we all) have a new favorite local Mexican restaurant. We ordered a steak burrito, two quesadillas (one chicken, one steak) and an arepa, and they were all fantastic. Not too mention, from hitting the "submit order" button on my phone to having the food hot and ready in a bag was 15 minutes at most. I was concerned when I pulled up because they seemed a little busy (Saturday night and all) but the food was ready right on schedule.

I should also mention the churros were delicious. My son said it was his new favorite dessert, and my wife said they were better than Disney's which is saying a lot.

Glad to have a new dinner option...

This is my new favorite place. We’ve dined 3 times now in the spotless dining room, with friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff taking fantastic care of us. The horchata and aguas frescas are delicious, fun, and unique. We loved that all the food is made in-house, right down to the chips, guac, salsa, dipping sauces, the AMAZING black beans, etc. We’ve tried the enchiladas, plantains, burritos, arepas, tacos, churros, funnel cake fries, and funnel cake. Each dish is a favorite. I can’t believe the prices, they’re so inexpensive for huge portions of fresh and delicious food. I have several food allergies and restrictions, and my partner is vegetarian; but the staff know everything about the food, and we were easily able to find foods that worked for us. can’t recommend it...
