This place had an excellent Fish Fry however, I will be pretty cut and dry here: You MUST be willing to enjoy drinking from vat-sized plastic tumblers (non-negotiable) Be willing to accept your cutlery placed directly onto a spot cleaned tabletop with no napkin that separates public DNA from your eating utensils Appreciate rock concert level (no joke) of music during consumption of your cuisine Incredible visual effects such as the air guitar band members that missed their calling. Thursday Nights at 240 South. We love seeing DJ Dobson for karaoke. And the beautiful Rachel makes a mean long island. Sing your heart out kid. Head to the right entrance for karaoke. Then swing to the left entrance for a huge open space. The cook, "Luigi" spitting image. No longer thinks it's funny when I say, "Aye Luigi issa me Mario". And of course Dennis the bartender. Who is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. And his vacation looking Hawaiian button-up. Had me renewing my passport, drinking tequila thinking about all inclusive in Montego Bay. It's worth it. Go have a good time. Order a pickle. I rate them around town. Good dill. Crunchy. Kosher? Mehhh. Had the 2 eggs and toast for 99 cents again. Can't beat it! They took the advice from last time and warmed the plates so things didn't get cold quickly. Really appreciate that. Bumped it up to 4 stars from 3 because of that. Still dark in there though. Wonder if some brighter bulbs would help. It's recessed lighting so it's hard to say. But it would give it a more warm and comfortable feeling. The temp in there was cold too. Had to sit with the jacket on. Was like the heater couldn't catch up with the cold day in February. Forced air doesn't make it down to the legs. If you get the .99 cent special, be sure to tip the waitress accordingly....
