I recently came in to see Emma Sortisio, BSN, Certified Jeuveau Injector, aka one of the greatest persons of all time:) Her caring, gentle way, immediately puts you at ease. She did an outstanding job relaxing me & I trust her completely - her skill, creativity, knowledge, compassion - its all there- all of it! She made me feel so comfortable, she did not rush a second, I love her! We spoke about the wrinkles around my eyes & smile. It was stress-free, painless, & simple - 15 min for the whole appointment, & that included a last minute add of jeuveau for the upper lip! Now, Im gong to be 50 this year & its been over a month & Ive had super fantastic results - zero issues! I highly recommend Emma S! She is not only a highly educated Nurse, she is also a full time mom, & full time spouse, an advocate for all, & a good friend to have, she is a beloved sister, a succeesful business owner, a reliable partner, an excellent role model, & one of the brightest, most nurturing women Ive ever met in my entire life!. Quite possibly, she is an angel lol, as I had hopes for wrinkle help, but she far exceeded what I thought could be done, still keeping it shockingly under budget!đ Emma is of the many reasons I truly believe Blu Medspa is The Best Spa in WNY. They literally have it all, too, incl: A Brand New, ASMR - âwaterfallâ style Headspa experience, hot stone, therapeutic, & prenatal massages, clean hair & skin product linest, CBD, oils, organic teas & outstanding nail & hair artists. Their esthetics Team offers a full spectrum of skin care options for face, back, and everywhere else, from laser, to hydro, to light, to peel, or poke, & of course, plump, refresh, renew & hydrate! Blu offers full body hair removal, for men too, as well as solutions for sweaty hands, feet, or underarms, as well as an array of lasers & treatments used by experienced, licensed & highly skilled estheticians. They have free, professional consultation appointments in private, comfortable rooms for same-day filler & anti-wrinkle injections, for those of us not feeling our age;). Which brings me back to mentioning, again, Im so excited about the headspa! I love the feeling of having my hair & scalp combed & Im looking forward to getting it done. Im coming back in to see Jen, & Emma, & to maybe get my first facial & also to get my hair cut, styled & cuticle smooth, flowing, & shiney w a Brazilian blow-out for spring! Honestly, it makes me feel warm & good when I go to Blu. I know the people thereâŚIm made to feel welcome, part of a family, & cared for. These wise, strong-hearted souls encourage & accept me -they are my âhome away from homeâ which is how you...
Read moreWent for a deep tissue massage and therapist was meh. Very weak, pressure was weak did not feel amazing like it should have. I see in the comment replies from the business âtell us how we can help or make your services personalized, give us all the information you canâŚ. Well she did ask first thing - my bothersome areas, but didnât spend any extra time there and when I said my shoulder was feeling tingly and bothersome after she âworkedâ on it she just said it must be the oil and moved on didnât offer to go back and work on it now I guess I could have been blunt and said listen lady I really need you to spend more time on my shoulders and upper back but I had already said it twice and gave her the opportunity and your job is to listen to people and know how to help them. I actually felt worse if thatâs possible because after getting up from the laying on the table I had to stretch to try and relieve the discomfort and later on I had aches and pains that werenât there because I feel like she had stirred up some issues that needed to be worked out more and time spent there but didnât take the hint and spent time on my legs and head - not necessary for me. Also she talked the whole time. I tried to be silent and give a hint that I was just trying to relax but Iâm not a rude person so felt compelled to talk back when she kept talking after a long silent pause. Also I am not new to massage therapy, I used to go all the time. I had a therapist I found and loved that I followed from business to business for years because she was amazing, I had all types from her from Swedish, deep tissue to hot stone so I have a lot of experience to compare this too. Unfortunately life circumstances and insane prices for these type services these days have kept me from treating myself in quite a few years and I have to say this was not money well spent and Iâll have to go back to getting free ones from my husband lol. All in all 2 stars because she was nice and the atmosphere was nice but 215 not including tip to come out feeling worse and nothing worked out really sucks. Thatâs 5 hours pay of a work day for me not including the taxes that come out and just feels like money tossed in the trash can. Definitely not planning...
Read moreTake notice!⌠With Blue spa salon gift cards! I had 3 gift Cards all w/o expiration dates. They would not accept any of them. I didnât know how old they were, I had said that when I booked the appt and was not told they might be expired. When I was informed they wouldnât accept themâŚAFTER I had already had the massage, I had also explained I was in a car accident & couldnât use them for a long while, & asked is there anyway they can be accepted b/c of extenuating circumstances. They said no. On top of that, I actually tried to pay before the massage even started, (i book 1st of the day appointments, b/c I am extremely noise sensitive b/c of the accident and wanted to pay first so I could leave immediately after massage and not get all tensed up with the noise of clients and phones and doors) but they wouldnât let me. If they would have, then I wouldnât have had the massage! I shouldâve kept the cards (I was so overwhelmed with noise of a salon and the fact of them not accepting gift cards and now I have to come up with $130 that I didnât budget for) and called the better business bureau b/c I was informed by a friend after the fact, there is actually some kind of law about gift cards. And there is! I not only lost $130 on the gift cards but also any good effects from the massage b/c of the entire situation at checkout! thatâs $260 + tip! I have gift cards which are also pre-car accident for Elite Spa in East Aurora and Falling Waters Spa in Orchard Park and guess what, they are still good. I had zero issues confirming them (again, no expiration dates either). And I also was told by both of these businesses plastic gift cards donât expire at businesses. So everyone⌠there is at minimum 2 better spas to buy gift cards from. Blue Spa should be ashamed of themselves. Hard earn money exchanged for plastic money doesnât and shouldnât expire. Itâs not like itâs food for...
