Absolutely awful food and experience. Service was slow and we waited a long time to get our food. I got coffee, it was practically undrinkable, it was so bitter. I took one sip and had to put it down. So that was a waste. Strike one. I got a side of fruit, which was expensive so I figured it’d be a good helping of fresh fruit. Nope. Small little cup of soggy and gross cantaloupe. It was sitting in a bowl of water essentially! Disgusting. A couple pieces of pineapple were so soft and nearly rotten tasting. Strike 2. My omelette was awful. It was just a mess. Presentation was laughably bad. The grilled chicken tasted off, almost gamey. Like it was microwaved! It was also supposed to include salsa, jalapeños and avocados, but these were absent from my omelette, despite me paying extra. Strike 3. Pancakes were so boring and bland. Tasted like boxed pancakes, yet they were still full price? I didn’t bother eating them. Strike 4. My girlfriends sandwich was so wet and soggy and an absolute mess. Been coming here at least once a month since they opened. They are building a addition probably due to much deserved success. Breakfast lunch or dinner. Usually great food. Owner comes by and says hello to everyone. On Friday June 30th we went there about 7 pm or so. My wife was having her first real meal in 4 days due to surgery. All she wanted was a good home meal. I ordered a fish fry which was real good. She ordered the meat loaf. It came out cold and the meat loaf looked like it was microwaveed after being frozen. Turned her right off. She had one small fork full of Mashed potatoes. She sent it back and curtly said never mind she doesn't want it back. Later she apologized to the waiter if she he was rude. He said he offered to warm it up and you said no. It's no skin off my back. Well, we will go back because one bad experience won't kill it for us. But, it will be a while before we return.
