The Family Pizzeria and Deli — Restaurant in Town of Whitestown

10/8/23, 2nd time ordering, ordered delivery via door dash. Phillycheese steak was tasty after adding my own seasonings, but seriously lacks ingredients, very few & very tiny peppers, onions, mushrooms.. you can't taste them bc there are so few on sandwich! garlic knots this time had zero toppings, just plain dough & marinara sauces which was warm this time, so that was a plus. Garlic pizza slice very overcooked, hard, cheese was all crusty & completely cold. The fact they served this disgusting pizza slice leaves one to wonder why????? Certainly not a way to win repeat customers! Threw out disgusting overcooked garlic slice, the top of pizza (cheese) was just hard, cold & so overcooked is couldn't be saved!! I will have to add my own garlic toppings to knots to eat, steak was only thing actually good. I hate throwing money down the drain like this, do better, much better, no one will continue to pay for poorly prepared food & an obvious lack of respect to...

After a long hard day working in the cold, I ordered a pizza from the Family Pizzeria & Deli (with a Capos sign on the building) to take home. Everyone inside was sincerely nice & welcoming as I picked up my order, and made my way outside to realize I locked myself out of my vehicle. After a few minutes of trying to "break myself in" a very kind guy from inside the pizzeria came out, to brave the cold with me and assist in my rescue. After I finally got my door open the pizzeria went above and beyond and offered me a fresh WARM pizza. It makes my heart smile that there are still good people in this world, like the family of this pizzeria! They provided me with "warmth" on that "chilly day!" The pizza...

Used to love this place when it was capos its close to home and they had great food. Now that its become the family pizzaria its gone to junk. Got wings a salad and broccoli cheddar bites. The wings where not mixed at all the salad was wilted and brown. The broccoli cheddar bites are a favorite of mine and they have changed the quality they are not the same. What a disappointment. Also when you call now you cant even speak to a person they immediately send you a link to order online. When your paying in cash you dont have an option to do so. Its such a shame.
