Rocky Reef Brewing Company — Restaurant in Town of Woodruff

My fiance, pup and I visited Rocky Reef for the first time this past weekend and we can't say enough about it! The staff and owners are amazing and the beer was some of the best we have had and we frequently visit new craft brewers in the Twin Cities. We stopped there twice in just a 3 day span and plan too every time we are in the area. Thanks for a great welcome!

Wedding Edit: We had our rehearsal dinner at Rocky Reef Brewery in July. The day simply couldn’t have gone better! We rented out their space (I believe we were the first to do this) for a few hours that Friday and catered our own food in. They had their normal tap list of beer which was fantastic. We were able to bring in pop, water and wine, for those who didn’t want their beer and that was very nice of them. That whole day with set up went smoothly and turned out gorgeous. With the weather cooperating, it was awesome to be able to split and have some people to enjoy their patio and bags game as well. We had the owners, Tyler and Christie hosting and bar tending that night, along with their staff member Mark. They all did an awesome job and made the night so much fun. We ended up having so many comments about how it was “the best rehearsal dinner that anyone has ever been too”. We enjoy their establishment on a regular basis as well, but they strived in this new request to have a large party as well. Large selection of beers, good variety of styles. All that I tried were high quality, so I assume that holds true for the entire lineup. Plenty of seating indoor and out when weather permits. No food service, but carry in allowed. Dogs allowed inside which is a plus in my mind but others might not agree. Overall feels like many of the breweries I have visited in larger cities, so great to see in the Northwoods. Recently had a couple bad experiences with new staff that made me feel less welcome than prior visits, but that may have just been a couple off days,...

We visited late afternoon on a Saturday. Tori was behind the bar and did a fantastic job - especially as it got much busier as we were there. The beers were good! We also liked the atmosphere of Rocky Reef. We enjoyed talking with some of the locals and others who were in town for different reasons.
