I have come back to this place many times. The food is delicious and flavorful no matter what I order and the prices are more than affordable. This is a popular spot since it is next to a high traffic bus stop. Only downside is that there isn't any seating available. Great place to grab your food and go. I recommend the 2 pc honey BBQ chicken meal with fries and a soda for just $5.50.

For the type of urban food place this is, Crown Chicken is excellent. Beside fried chicken, which they move a lot of, they do fish sandwiches and falafel wraps and a broad array of sides and desserts. Most of it is assembled from prepackaged components, but they've chosen their suppliers well. The wraps and sandwiches are the size of monster burritos and have to be eaten the same way, peeling down the foil and paper as you go. It's not fancy, but the food is good and the portions...

It may not be located in the best part of town, corner of State and Broad, this is by far the best fried chicken. I was able to convince my co-workers this and we had a party.
