The world just isn't listening! Tacos and Trenton are synonymous!!

This is a female run restaurant. This is your abuelas', your tias' and hermanas' food, all in ine. This is food made by women who want you to miss your family. The warmth is there.

The stars here are the flavors. They know what they're doing. I got the torta. The roll was delicious. Pillowy and fresh, it could stand up to the mountain of food on it. The sandwich itself was massive. Stuffed with chicken and all the toppings you can imagine.

The nachos were gigantic, too. You get to choose your toppings. The el pastor is a treat.

My love, though... the salsa Verde. So often, when you get it, it's bland. This! Had a great acid, and was lovely in terms of herbs. It has a perfect viscosity and brought together the dishes. It's making me smile as I write about it.

If I had to pick with them... I don't think pickled jalapeños are the way to go (on the torta). But hey - that could just be...
