Los 3 Amigos — Restaurant in Trenton

My review and opinion of this establishment has steadily declined since my first visit. I probably want this to be a good restaurant more than anywhere else in Trenton but no matter how many chances I give them it's always a little worse than the time before. I could provide a laundry list of reasons but overall I'd say that they are sub par in almost every category. Dreadful order accuracy, I've never once had a togo order be 100% accurate. Twice in a row (the last two times) it was way, way off even though we covered it at length over the phone and read it back. Rediculous food delivery to table. If you have more than 2 people they auction the food at the table and will begin running food before all guests meals are ready. The last time we dined in I was able to finish my entire meal before my wife received her plate, and that was after I waited 10 minutes. Once we actually paid and left before all guests food was delivered. It's like it's being run by a child. I was a huge fan of this place in Lookout Valley and I liked it here when they first opened. The best thing here is the actual food, best Mexican in the area, if you go at 4pm on a Monday they might be able to accurately accommodate you. Very dissatisfied with the manager. I ordered cheese dip but did not specify which one. I was looking at the dip for 2 dollars on the menu when I ordered. The waitor did not explain that there were 3 different options for cheese dip. When I got the bill I found out that the waitor had ordered the most expensive version. I explained what happened to the cashier and the manager. The manager had little simpathy for my concern and just said I'll remind the waitor about it. If there was a need to talk to the waitor about it, then there was something the waitor could have or should have done differently. I was offered no compensation or apologies. This is not about the money, maybe 2 dollars more than I expected to pay. I have college degree in business management and have managed stores before. I know from experience that the business is always better off when the manager makes the customer feel like they have been treated fairly, especially when the cheese cost them almost nothing. where’s the beef!? this is highway robbery. they’re starting to fill chimichangas with all peppers and onions and no meat. staff is always different every visit, always rude and dismissive each visit. the only one with customer service experience and skills there was me. management is no better, quite disrespectful and unhelpful. the food is of good quality, but slapped together messily as if in a panic. the prices are astronomically high for this frozen tex mex. food is never all a uniform temp, sides are always cold on a hot plate of food, and they crew is generally surly and rude morning noon and night. must miss, eating in or out in trenton is really not worth being ripped off like this.100% will no longer be eating at this or any of tres amigoes other local “restaurantes”. they don’t want or need our money, and they’ll let you know it. just do taco bell and call...
