Thomasena's Restaurant — Restaurant in Trenton

I saw the reviews and was nearby with my son, Goddaughter, her son and nephew. Easy Sunday parking right on the street and quick walk to the door. I started getting nervous when we ordered the lightweight wings which came with two sides but we could only get pre made sides in the display. Even more nervous when they didn't have standard fare: greens not ready for 3 hours, no whiting since it is apparently out of season. Umm it's in the freezer at shop rite and I can get it at any major fish market fresh year round.

Well thank goodness because the yams were delicious and my son loved the mac and cheese. The free drink that came with the light weight was unexpected and while there only 3 wing dings it was plenty with the large helping of sides. I will definitely be back again if in the area.

The music was wonderful and made me not want to leave although finished eating. Great prices, nice food...
