We came to Trinidad to visit for a few days and stopped into this historical building where I used to go watch movies. We stopped at the Trinidad Tea Co, and what a great experience it was. The tea was warm, and the shop was beautiful. The conversation was something I wasn't expecting. Christa is so warm and welcoming. I learned a lot about Trinidad history that I didn't know growing up here. I guess there is nothing I can write that hasn't already been written in these reviews. My daughter and I stopped by today while visiting a friend who lives in the area. We were so impressed. The owner is kind and knowledgeable and the store is bright, clean, and has such a great atmosphere. The scones were amazing and so was the tea! We even got to sample some before we made our final decision. I ended up buying some tea to take home with us along with some beautiful pink tea cups. What a wonderful way to relax and unwind, all while supporting great folks who are bringing this legendary building back to life! The cup of apple spice tea I had while there warmed me up on a brisk day -- the best cup of tea I've ever had (and I spent the summer in England!), so I also bought a bag of Lemon Balm Citrus tea to make at home.
