Anamia's Tex Mex — Restaurant in Trophy Club

This place is trash stay away. The service was slow while having only 2 other people at the bar. At the counter station where ready drinks are placed they had dirty dishes and dirty towels on that counter and the bartender was placing ready drinks on top of the dirty dishes. It was disgusting. I wait at the bar for 8 minutes before getting my order taken. I tell the bartender what I want to order, he says okay, walks away to make another drink and then 15 minutes later comes back and asks me what I want on my food. The food never came. I told him to cancel my order and he made me feel guilty for wanting to cancel my to-go order after waiting 15 minutes and the bartender tells me he never rang my order up. Then after I tell him to cancel the order he tells me my order is miraculously ready. He charged me $18 for nachos. He didn’t ask me what size I wanted. I will never come back here. And by the looks of the inside of this restaurant this place will go under in less than a year. Not to mention he charged my card after I told him to cancel the food. So I canceled the food and was still charged for it. Next to me was a pile of dirty dishes from a previous customer and the entire 20 minutes I was sitting waiting that pile of dirty dishes was never cleaned up by the 6 employees that walked into the room during the 20...

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Christian during my visit to Anamia’s, and I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. From the moment we were seated, Christian greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm that set the tone for the evening.

The servers at this place actually serve you. I downed like 3 glasses of water, but it was only empty for maybe 30 seconds (if that) throughout the whole visit. Was almost disappointed getting ready to leave because there wasn’t a single reason I could think of to tip under 20%. Don’t assume the food/atmosphere is bad because I put 4 stars on it. It’s on par or better than a lot of similar places. But if I put 5 stars for everything, nobody would take my statements about the service seriously.

I mean we had our chips refilled because the manager noticed it was mostly crumbs left. Then some guy who wasn’t even our waiter noticed we needed more salsa and he got that. Our waiter was also very attentive, it’s just a breath of fresh air to experience a place where all the staff takes responsibility for your experience.

Amazing tres leches and the place is in a nice quiet area in trophy club so….. the atmosphere is up there as well.
