I don't normally post reviews, but I had to muster the effort for this fine establishment. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a lovely inviting atmosphere. This is amplified by Vinny, the proprietor of the restaurant who we met at the counter up front. He possesses a calm/relaxing demeanor and wasted no time seating us. Moments later a server took our drink order and away we went, perusing the menu. Another moment elapsed and our primary server came over to inquire about appetizers. I didn't catch this young lady's name, but she was very friendly and full of positive energy. Within a few minutes we had some mozzarella caprese on the table, alongside a caddy containing oil. The fresh mozzarella was delectable and the slices of tomato were both thick and juicy. Shortly thereafter we were greeted by our main course. I had the cheese tortellini in alfredo sauce. The tortellini was cooked perfectly and the sauce itself was flavorful. The portion of sauce atop the tortellini was also ideal. There was enough to prevent it from being a dry dish, but not so much that you had a lake of alfredo left over. We finished our experience with a miniature connoli and a slice of limincello cake, both of which were delightful finishers. The limoncello cake in particular was light and refreshing. Our drinks and complimentary bread were kept topped up throughout this experience as well. I also want to point out that during the majority of our visit, Vinny was walking around checking on guests and catching up with what I can only assume were regular customers, of which there were many. I believe that speaks volumes about the quality of this establishment and the owner/staff. At this point I believe I may be rambling a bit, so I want to conclude by saying that if I return to the Trophy Club/Southlake area, i'll make a point to visit this location...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Vinny's Italian restaurant in Trophy Club, Texas, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by Vinny himself with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere.

The ambiance of the restaurant was a bit dated but charming and cozy, with a perfect touch of rustic Italian decor. The attentive staff made sure that every detail was taken care of, from promptly seating me to providing knowledgeable recommendations on the menu.

Speaking of the menu, it was an absolute delight. The extensive selection of authentic Italian dishes left me spoilt for choice. I opted for their signature pasta dish, and it was truly a taste sensation. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. Each bite was a culinary delight that transported me straight to Italy.

The portions at Vinny's were generous, ensuring that I left feeling satisfied and content. The quality of the ingredients used in each dish was evident, and the attention to detail in presentation was commendable.

To complement my meal, I indulged in a glass of their house Italian wine which added a nice touch to the meal.

The service at Vinny's was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations, making me feel like a valued guest.

Overall, my dining experience at Vinny's Italian restaurant was outstanding. From the delightful ambiance to the scrumptious food and impeccable service, every aspect was carefully curated to create a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend Vinny's to anyone in search of a truly authentic and exceptional Italian dining experience in...

Love this local restaurant and order pizza from here just about every Friday night. A little annoyed this evening that their website and auto message when you call directs you to new online ordering instead of phoning it in. Would have been ok except for 3 things: 1. I’m always suspicious that I’m being surcharged when ordering this way (like DoorDash and Grubhub do). 2. They didn’t list all the options for adding onto a cheese pizza on the drop down menu (we always add pineapple to cheese pizza and it wasn’t there). 3. I will order online and pay at the restaurant but I will not share my credit card info with an unknown 3rd party. I may even consider paying Apple Pay or PayPal but no, new ordering system for Vinny’s. Ya don’t get my cc. Ok. But a solid 5 stars for this amazing restaurant and beacon in our community. I would never give them less than that and when we called in our order the same guy that’s always at the counter helped me promptly without mention of the online ordering...

Vinny's is so comfortable and inviting. The grape vines along the indoor trellis and 50's music provide a lovely background. The service is solicitous without being too much. Most importantly, the food is delicious. Ask for a bit of sauce to go with your bread before the appetizers come out - so good! You could also just get the Mussels Marinara for $12.99 like we did and enjoy the leftover sauce with your fresh bread. Full yes on the lasagna for $14.99! The noodles were fresh and had the most perfect bite. This and the mussels were the two dishes our whole group still talks about days later. Outstanding. The Fettuccine Alfredo was also lovely - it's so hard to go wrong with homemade pasta of any kind and Vinny's knocked this out of the park. We're headed back this weekend for the pizza! Dessert must be the Cannoli for $5.99 because the scrumptious filling is also fresh and made in-house. Outstanding.

I really had a bad night at Vinny's... Maybe because I arrived so close to closing, and the food was rushed? I'm not sure, but my food wasn't very good at all, and for a 25.00 selection, +-tip. Yes, I still tipped! I feel that is the right thing to do because it's not the server's fault if the food is not cooked properly. Anyway, I expected a lot better. I ordered the salmon w/shrimp and spaghetti. It was very under season, no taste, and the sauce that covered the meal was very unappetizing. I could only consume a few bites then ask for a to-go box because I was too embarrassed to let them know it wasn't very good, and I hate asking for something else, which I should, how else would they know on how to improve on their meals, Right? Well, I'm willing to give them another try, probably a different dish for sure, and I would love to see how the pizza taste.

Lot of places can take tips from this family owned operation. The service was absolutely on point. The staff was quick to seat us and quick to tend to us. The owner operator made numerous trips to ensure that out service was nothing less than stellar. The food was delicious and served quickly shortly after ordering it. The venue is a quaint and relaxing. Before the orders came out we had complementary roll and we ordered the caprese. Both were delicious. I had a wonderful chicken and mushroom cream pasta and my friend had a pasta sampler. Both were delicious as well. To cap of the meal we had a lemon cello cake and cheesecake. Both were savory as well. I will be back in the near future and highly recommend Vinnys. What a nice hidden treat. Thank you for the hospitality Vinny!!!
